"I'm so sorry I'm running late, there was traffic and.." Maya rambled; apologizing profusely while gesticulating with her hands.
"It's okay," Amanda said, raising her hands to silence her in the middle of her rambling. Maya immediately shut up and took a deep breath, "Morgan here has already handled what I called you here for, over 2 hours ago" she stated pointing at Morgan while giving Maya the side-eye.
Alan noticed the look and chuckled, but immediately covered it up with a cough when everyone turned towards him. Morgan rolled her eyes at him before she turned to Maya and smiled warmly at her "I'm Morgan" she introduced herself again and brought out her hand for a handshake.
Maya stared at her hands in slight disgust, before looking up and giving her a tight-lipped smile; clearly displeased by her presence. "I am Maya, the legal advisor for Miss West," she said, more like reminding her and bitchily just shook the tip of her hands.
