Chapter 6_ You'll regret working with me

Damien's once sullen expression lightened up within seconds, now that he thought about it, she can stay..

"You know what? I think I'm a bad boss for trying to fire you on your first day of work..so from now onwards you're my secretary"

Olivia arched an eyebrow at the 360 degree turn his words just took, wasn't he against her staying here a while ago? and why was he nice?

"Really?" her eyes glowed in delight when he gave her a nod, she was just about to leave the office when she heard his next words..

"I'll make sure you regret working with me!"

Sandy Parker giggled when she was suddenly embraced by a small frame..

It was her grandson Kelvin, not too long she heard Bianca's voice which sounded like she was on a call..

"Grandma you didn't tell me that you were stopping by..did you get chocolate for me?"

Sandy took him by his hand and led him to the small dining table for four at a corner in the living room..

"Of course I got you chocolate.. but as you know cavities aren't friendly to little kids..I made you a very tasty snack"

Kelvin's eyes grew large when he saw the plate of cookies and a glass of milk sitting on the table..

"Wow grandma..you made cookies for me"

Sandy nodded, she excused herself when her phone rang out..

"Yes dear..send their portfolio to me as soon as you can.. thanks" She said with a smile, sooner or later she would find the suitable man for her daughter..

Kelvin instantly knew what she meant by that but like always, he was always here to protect his mum from bad men..

"Mrs Parker.. I'm sorry I have to leave now..my mum just called, she's having some trouble with her car"

Sandy waved her off, she didn't mind,at least she was here to take care of her grandson herself before Olivia gets back from work and speaking about Olivia how was she doing?

Bella threw a large amount of files on Olivia's desk that was already filled up with various colours of files..

"Boss said you must finish sorting all these before the end of today or else you're working overnight"

Olivia heaved up and down in anger, so this was what he meant by making her regret her decision to work with him?

"You've dropped it right? why don't you leave?!" She lashed out irritably at the b*tch in front of her, was this how they treated every new employee they hire?

A loud gasp ensued from the other employees, no one has ever talked back at Bella before now, she was like the second boss whenever the boss wasn't around..

Bella's pupils dilated as her jaw clenched staring down at the lady who wasn't a little inch scared of her..

"Are you deaf or something?" Olivia asked once more with an arched brow..

"How dare you speak to me in such a tone?! do you know who I am?!"

Olivia shrugged, she failed to understand why people asks her this question when she honestly didn't care at all..

"Please don't shout! I have a lot of walk to do and if you don't mind..please leave now" Olivia added and watched Bella stormed away in anger..

She faced her PC once more and suddenly felt some gazes on her, she snapped her gaze to the others who quickly pulled their gaze off her pretending to do something on their desk..

"Weirdos" she murmured..

Few minutes after Bella left, the telephone beside her rang out, she stared at it for a while before she raised it up to her ear..

"To my office now!"

Olivia shrunk back and pulled the telephone off her ear, she could tell he wasn't in a good mood on hearing his anger laced tone..

Damien relaxed back on his seat with his hand on his temple, by his side stood Bella who was all smiles..

Olivia who stood before them pulled off her gaze elsewhere to avoid his interrogative stare..

"You...

"Before you scold me..I wasn't at fault, she was the one who clearly started it..but if you want to punish me for a mistake I didn't do..you can go ahead, I'll simply dial the number on the black card" Olivia blabbed on cutting Damien off his speech..

Damien sat up and lowered his gaze at her "Are you threatening me?" his tone came out in a low and demanding growl..

Bella was the most infuriated, she couldn't believe how rude and ill mannered this newbie was and especially to the boss himself..

She wasn't sure what made him changed his mind after he fired her earlier today..

"Bella.."

Bella straightened herself up with a small smile directed at him..

"Yes boss?"

"Leave us" He ordered while his eyes was fixated on the daring lady in front of him, he couldn't point out exactly what he found familiar about this lady in front of him..

Bella's smile froze on her face, however she composed herself and left the office leaving the two alone.

Olivia watched him as he stood up from his seat, he walked to her in a slow and intimidating step, he was a bit surprised that she wasn't even making an attempt to step back or blink her eyes nervously..

"What are you trying to do?"

Damien grabbed her arm and pushed her gently to the wall with a hand above her head, he lowered his gaze down at her..

"You've only been here for six hours but you managed to break fifteen rules in the span of that hour"

Olivia smirked, she bit her bottom lip and at the same time, her hand grabbed his tie..

"I'm awesome don't you know that? and besides that I'm not one who follows the rules..you can ask around"

Damien pulled his tie off her grip and took a step backwards from her but instead she took a step forward to him..

This went on until Damien felt his desk behind him, he looked at her in unbelief..

How on earth was she so brave? doing something like this to her own boss??

"Are you suddenly scared of me boss? weren't you trying to be tough a while ago?"

Olivia raised her hand to his collar straightening it and just then the door opened as a graceful figure entered..

"Babe...

Her footsteps stopped midway as she stared at her boyfriend who was about to be seduced by a female employee.

Olivia and Damien turned their heads to the lady who just stepped into the office..

"Rihanna..you came"

Rihanna's eyes blazed in anger as she matched to the lady who was still clinging onto Damien's shirt, she raised her hand ready to strike Olivia to her face but to her dismay her hand was caught with ease on air..

"Don't try to make that mistake of raising your hands to me!.." Olivia warned with a stern look on her face..

Rihanna's brown orbs widened in surprise, she staggered backwards when Olivia threw down her hand forcefully..

"How dare you?! how dare you try to seduce my boyfriend?!"

Olivia swiped her blonde hair backwards which swept over Damien's face "Ask your boyfriend and spare me out of this drama!" She casually said and left the office for them..
