Chapter Sixty-five

Max’s POV

With Alexander gone and Charlie stomping off into the woods, it leaves me with a delirious Kiwi and a sobbing Kayla, right now my priority was Kiwi

“Go” I shout at Kayla and she runs off in the same direction as Charlie. I should have been concerned or at least worried about Charlie but something tells me that she could take care of herself.

Picking up Kiwi and once again slinging her over my shoulder, I head towards my packhouse when one of the warriors comes running to me

“Alpha, what is the plan?”

I growl at him, could he not see I was busy

“Its just that you told us we were going to war and we are still here” he had clearly drawn the short straw
