Chapter Sixty-six
Charlie’s POV
It felt good to have Max’s arms around me, breathing in his earthy scent helped calm my mind but I couldn’t help notice how tense he was.
“Where is Kiwi?”, I needed to know if she was alive or dead.
“You do not need to worry about her, she is safe and unable to hurt anyone”
I couldn’t hide the smile spreading across my face, Kiwi was finally no longer a problem and yet I wondered why Max had kept her alive but right now, that did not matter. Releasing me from our hug, I watch as he takes in the scene, blood was splattered everywhere except on Alexander.
“You did this?” Max asked me whilst refusing to look at me

Max’s POVI couldn’t stand how close he was to Charlie and the growl came frome somewhere deep inside me, warning him to get away from my mate. Charlie’s POVAlpha Zach was something else, he had muscles bulging through the shirt he was wearing, he was tall with dark hair shaven at the sides, tattoos trailing over the skin that was visible and down into his shirt.
