Chapter Thirty-five

Max’s POV

I knew it was not going to end well, Alexander was fuming and I was in a little bit of shock, my mother wants Alexander to stop trying so Charlie will choose me, what my mother does not seem to understand is that I have been doing research on Charlie’s Alpha-Luna heritage and no matter what as soon as she turned eighteen she inherited the role as leader of the pack, regardless of whether her Alpha father was still alive.

Research of our database has shown many lies, firstly it states that Charlie’s mother was killed by a vampire and secondly she isn’t the only Alpha-Luna out there, our mother was one too and that was why she knew so much about them, it most likely explained the silent conversations my parents were having when Charlie first arrived.
