Chapter Twenty-eight
Alexander’s POV
Yes, she was finally coming around and was actually agreeing to go to the party father and I had sorted. It was only going to be a few people anyway, now I knew why she did not do parties, I did not want to push my luck by inviting the whole pack although there is a good chance they will find out anyway. Some people just cannot keep their mouths shut.
As soon as she agreed, I left, I did not want to give my mate the chance to change her mind. Heading back to the party, I tell father that she will come for a little bit but not to invite too many people.
Father grimaces “I’m sorry son, I have invited the pack. It’s not often we get to throw a party”
He was right, we had stopped throwing parties so often because they always seem to end in disaster. Hopefully this time would be different.
It was literally hours before she turned eighteen, then she would have a choice to make and I prayed to the moon goddess

Max’s POVSilence hung between us, Charlie and Harrison that was the last thing I was expecting. Alexander’s POV I never thought I would have to be burying my father already, it was hard watching him be lowered into the ground, harder listening to my mother cry.
