Chapter fifty-six
Max’s POV
Alexander was sceptical, why could he not just trust my judgement. He argued and argued with me all evening and if he wasn’t my brother I would be putting him down as disobeying me, the Alpha. Kayla jumped in several times constantly repeating how I should listen to her Grandmother, I might have been willing to listen if she had given me straight forward answers instead of making me feel even more clueless.
Kayla eventually leaves, leaving Alexander and I alone
“Are you sure you want to do this?” he sounded bothered, almost tired, he knew we were up against Kiwi and a possible battle

Alexander’s POVHeading back to my room after the chat with Max was not what I had planned. My brain was working over time, Charlie was a Lycan and her father Damon was still alive.
