Chapter Forty One

Since I had now decided to stay, I tried to find Nina, so I could hang out with her briefly until Nicholas got back. I didn't know if she was still around or if she had gotten busy with her mate, but either way, I tried to find her because I didn’t want to be bored alone.

On my way to Nina, I happened to spot Beta Liam at a distance, and he looked like he was on the verge of suffocating. I noticed that numerous women were surrounding him, with all of them giggling and laughing away like they were having the best time of their lives, while Liam seemed like he wanted nothing more than to run away.

Since he was so preoccupied with the women, I decided against bothering him and attempted to just keep searching for Nina, but all of a sudden, I heard the Beta’s voice call out my name, and I’m halted In my tracks.

I turned around to look at him and as soon as I did, I noticed that he was already walking towards me and I had a feeling that he had only called out my name to use
