Rhea’s POV

We stood facing each other in the middle of the room as he looked at me with a serious look on his face.

“If I’m going to try this with you, you need something called a safe word. It’s a special word you say to me loud and clear when you feel like you cannot continue whatever it is we’re about to experience. You say the word only when you had enough but not after you push yourself way over the limit. You say it, everything stops. Promise me you will use it the second you need to” he asked firmly.

Anticipation mixed with a trickle of fear of the unknown coursed through me.
