Chapter One hundred and Forty

On getting to his house which freaked me out like hell, we alighted and I kept staring at the car—like he called it— with a dreamy look in my eyes as I gazed at it.

The noise that came out of the car when we were inside was deafening.

This particular world looked weird with freaky and terrific gadgets but I kinda liked it... How the hell did we get here in split minutes? Even if it was fast, it was slow somehow!!

He took me in and offered me a room but everywhere looked too clean and classy for me. I don't know why but I would have preferred it a little dirty.

And also, I had forgotten to ask him why he had run out of the hospital when he had been questioning me earlier.

Oh damn it!! I'll make sure to question him about it.

Few minutes later, Santiago re–entered the room with a mug in his hands though his countenance wasn't as bright as it was before.

"Here you go. Herbs and tea, it would help relieve you of the pain you might be feeling." He said and dropped the steaming tea o
