“Rick!”

“Blaake!”

Clutching onto the small velvety box I carefully walked inside the main hall, peering around the seemingly deserted area, my eyes instantly landing on the small shards of glass, ceramics and other fragile materials scattered on the marble floor, suggesting that something not good definitely happened here.

Oh god...

“Rick!”

“Blake!”

I called once again, frantically looking around as I followed the trail of destroyed objects, my heart-rate increasing by the second as I kept picturing the worst scenarios.

Oh god, please be ok, please be ok...

I mentally prayed, taking two stairs at a time, heading straight to Rick’s office, a.k.a the only place in the house I knew he had his ammo hidden and a small safety room.

Only the moment I stepped inside, a very unpleasant scene unfolded right in front of my eyes.
