Chapter 9 The picture gone wrong

“Jade?” I called unable to move from where I stood, I watched as Jade advanced towards me with a cold expression on his face, he stopped right before me and when I thought he was going to yell to my face he surprised me when he slowly hugged my tiny waist with his head deep into the hollows of my neck, 

“I'm tired” He muttered lowly, sniffing my neck, 

“Jade are you okay?” I asked calmly

“Nhh” He hummed 

“Please hug me back princess” 

My heart melted immediately, as I wrapped my arms around him, hugging him back. Jade always acts like a baby around me whenever he's tired or not feeling happy, hrs always like this with me and that's the reason why we're closer. 

After staying like that for some minutes, he finally pulled away, 

“Princess” He called and cupped my face, 

“Are you sure you're okay?” 

“Hmm” He nodded and kissed my forehead, 

“Can you not leave me please?” He asked looking so vulnerable 

“I'm here with you Jade, I'm not going anywhere” 

“I just don't want to lose you” He muttered and pulled into his arms, hugging me again, I caressed his hair, patting his back

“Can I sleep with you tonight?” He whispered 

“Hhh, what about school tomorrow?” 

“I'm going to leave early I promise” 

“Alright” I nodded, we both walked to the bed and laid down, Jade pulled me closer with his head resting on my chest, he hugged my body 

“Goodnight” He muttered.

Is Jade fucking messing with my heart right now? I'm sure my heartbeat is thundering the loudest and he can hear it. How does he expect me to sleep peacefully when he's this close to me? 

“Jade?”

“Jade?” I called but got no reply and that's when I heard him snoring and realized he's already asleep. I tried my best to sleep that night but sleep was far from my eyes, how do I sleep when I'm wrapped up in the arms of my best friend, my mate whom I love but unfortunately he can't love me back and he's still being like this with me and expect me to still see him as just friends and sleep peacefully? 

I stayed awake the whole night and could barely catch some sleep, it was already 3AM in the morning when I began to feel sleepy and finally I slept off. 

I woke up the next morning and realized Jade was gone. I climbed down from the bed and made my way into the bathroom where I took my bath and got ready for school. I thought I'll be walking to school today but I was surprised to see Dell, Dante and Zack waiting for me In Front of my house

“Princess you didn't finish your breakfast” My mum yelled behind me

“Hi Aunt!” They all waved at my mom

“My boys, you guys looked stunning” My mum joked with them

“Thanks aunt you're not looking bad” Dante winked at her making my mum blush, 

“A porch truck?” I gasped in shock seeing the new ride, 

“You like it?” Zack winked

“Who own it, it's so beautiful” I giggled happily as I ran to check out the car, 

Zack walked to me and wrapped his arms around my shoulder, 

“Guess what princess I bought this porch for my date today but guess who will be getting the first ride, it's you baby”

“Huhhhh….” I made a disgusting face and burst into laughter, 

“Bye mummy!” I waved at my mum

“Bye Aunt” They all waved at my mum 

“Princess you need to see my new girlfriend damn, she has a big ass”

“Don't listen to him, he's crazy” Dell muttered and opened the car door for me and I entered, we all got into the car, and Zack is the one driving

“Zack, don't tell me you're no longer dating the girl you showed me the other day?” 

“You mean the ones he dumped the next day” Dante laughed

“Wait what?!” I gasped in shock, 

“Why is it so cold here?” I muttered caressing my arms

“Turn off the fucking AC she's cold” Dell groan

“Princess are you okay?” Zack asked as he lowered the AC 

“Hmm, I feel better right now” I nodded

“Zack why can't you just focus on one girl”

“Princess how do I focus on one when they keep coming to me, trust me I want to have them all, the last time I have a bitch my heart she thought I couldn't live without her and messed up my heart, I figured out girls don't deserve loyalty” 

How come I've never heard of this story before, could it be that someone has broken Zack's heart before, is that the reason why he's a playboy? Does it mean all of them have gotten their hearts broken before? Weird, they never talk about it.

“We are here” Zack muttered, I held my hand ready to open the door when suddenly Zack held my hand

“Princess I'll do it” Dante said and rushed out from the car immediately, he came to my door side and opened my car door, I smile and stepped down from the car, 

We all walked to the class together and when we got in Jade is not yet in class,

“Where's Jade?” Zack muttered looking around

“Probably in his private mansion” Dante replied

“Nhhh I think he's with her” Dell muttered gesturing to the front and we all looked up and saw Jade holding hands with his girlfriend, my heart sank immediately and I looked away, 

They came to us and Jade took his seat which was right next to mine while his girlfriend sat on his desk

“Hi Amy” Emma his girlfriend called me

“Hi” I replied with a smile

“Can you help me take a picture?” She said and pass her phone to me, 

“What pose?” I asked, 

“Ohh here” 

She suddenly pulled Jade into a kiss, gut wrenching pain slammed into my heart, as it felt like my heart was breaking into pieces, the phone slowly fell from my hand and shattered on the floor
