I couldn't stop my voice before I blurted it out, all eyes were now on me.

"You okay...?" Leslie quickly placed her hands on mine, I turned with a small smile on my face.

"Yeah, I think something bit me on my thigh," I said calmly, darting a sharp gaze at Glen but he ignored me and went back to his food.

Leslie's mom still gazed at me with a soft expression, "I promise I'm fine, I just felt a sting on my thigh that's all."

"If you say so," she replied calmly.
