Violet climbed out of the car and headed toward his office, her steps quick and determined. He hadn’t had breakfast, she knew that much and today, she was fully prepared to shove food down his throat if needed. He had eaten all her cupcakes last night, every single one of them, and yet he was still pretending to be mad at her. Pretentious dog.

She reached his office, only to be told he wasn’t there. He had gone to the field to train the warriors. Violet set down the lunch on his table, then turned and headed toward the training grounds.

It didn’t take long to find him. He was seated on a bench at the boundry of the field, barking commands at the trainees, his voice sharp and commanding. Violet slowed, watching from a distance. He wore nothing but a black vest and trousers, the fabric sticking to every hard line of his body. His shoulders curved inward as he leaned forward, forearms set against his thighs, the posture radiating a quiet, undeniable dominance. Heat stirred in her stom

  • My Beta Charming   Proposing To Marry

She had seen the island in the day. The lush greens, blue sea, and sand beaches..but in the night, everything lay under the thick blanket of darkness, except for their beach house. Still, she loved riding in the chopper. Never in her wildest dreams had she imagined she would one day soar through the sky like this. She looked over at him to ask why they were taking a chopper ride in the night when she caught a subtle frown creasing his forehead. His minds eemed to be elsewhere. "Qhat's wrong?' she asked, concerned. He looked at her and blinked as if processing her question. "Nothing's wrong. What do you mean?" he asked. "You look distracted," she pointed out. "I am not," he brushed off her observation. Violet also didn't think much of it, assuming he was tired. She was tired too, but the excitement to get more experience with him overrode that. Smiling, she put her head on his shoulder and looked out. As they flew over the sea, the night vast and endless, until something glowed be

  • My Beta Charming   Island Fun

She woke up to something soft and moist grazing against her cheek, tracing the curve of her face in slow, deliberate strokes. She moaned. Still half-asleep, she shifted, then finally opened her eyes, only to find his face hovering inches from hers.He drew back just enough to look into her eyes, a warm smile playing on his lips."Good morning," he whispered. Before she could respond, he leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her lips, easy and warm. She melted right there, her heart soaring high. Tucked safely in his arms, being doted on by him..she felt the luckiest woman in the world. He pulled away a moment later and looked down at her with quiet affection. Her lashes fluttered as he lovingly grazed his knuckle down the length of her face. "I wish I could tell you how beautiful you are, but word fails me," he admitted softly. Loving her wasn't the end; it was an eternal process as he found himself more and more in love with her with each passing time. "You're the reason I want to

  • My Beta Charming   Vacation

Violet slid her shades up into her hair and climbed down the plane. She tried to keep her mind on her steps, but the view in front of her was so breathtaking that she couldn’t help it. She knew Sean was rich, but rich enough to own a private plane and an entire island? That was news to her.Awe glistened in her eyes as she took in the view. Tall coconut palms swayed in the distance, their green crowns decorating the bright blue sky. The air felt cleaner here, lighter, carrying the scent of salt and sea. Waves played with the trees and her hair. She drew in a deep breath, filling her lungs with the scent. She couldn’t wait to explore this place. "You like it?" he murmured in her ear, almost startling her. Violet looked over at him. He was standing behind her, smiling down at her. "It's breathtaking," she replied, clearly still in awe."Your first time to an island?" he asked, taking her hand in his as he led her towards a car that he had gotten shipped a day ago. "I am not as rich

  • My Beta Charming   Earning Forgiveness

Violet slipped into the seat beside him, acutely aware of his sour mood. The silence was heavy and tense. Still, a flicker of warmth stirred in her chest at the realization that, despite how angry he was with her, he hadn’t left her behind. He could have. Instead, he was here, gripping the steering wheel, jaw set, shoulders stiff, but waiting. He started the engine without looking at her, his gaze fixed straight ahead as though she didn’t exist at all. For days, she had ignored him. Now the roles had quietly, painfully reversed. It had only been a few moments, and she was already feeling miserable. "I am sorry," she murmured, her eyes fixed on her lap. No response came from the other side. She turned toward him. His eyes remained locked on the road ahead, his jaw clenched tightly. It was the first time he had gotten so mad at her, and she had a hunch it was going to get worse. Guilt burdened her chest with renewed force. She had hurt him deeply. If only she could take back the day

Surveying the room, she plopped down on the queen bed. The piece of furniture groaned beneath her, betraying its worn condition. She had come to her cottage to spend some alone moment. This wasn’t just a cottage to her. It was a symbol of her strength, a sanctuary she had built herself when she had nothing. Every time she felt weak, she returned here, to remind herself of everything she had endured, every battle she had fought, and every grief she had survived. These walls had seen her at her lowest, and how she bounced back. Was she overreacting? She could be. Perhaps, it was his pampering or her own insecurities, but everytime he held things from her, she felt hurt.Leaning back against the bedpost, she closed her eyes and breathed in the fresh, refreshing scent of lilies. The flowers had been planted just outside her window, their fragrance gentle and familiar. One of the few things that still managed to calm her racing thoughts. For days now, her health hadn’t been the best. A du
