Violet drove down the street lined by forest on both sides. As her truck needed some fixing, she had to make a quick trip to the city. Now, she was on her way back home. Low-hanging clouds drifted above, and the road stretched wide between towering trees, her windshield reflecting the scene like a painting by a nature lover. The road, too, was largely deserted, interrupted only by the occasional speeding car. She wished she could enjoy the view, but she couldn't, not when troubles dangled above her head like a swinging sword. Feeding day was almost here, and she had yet to gather all the necessary ingredients. If she didn't feed the creatures, he would be very mad at her.

Her eyes widened suddenly. Out of nowhere, someone appeared in front of her car. She hit the brakes, but the truck still collided with it. Stunned, Violet climbed out of the truck. A boy lay motionless on the road before her, wounded and unconscious. Violet crouched beside him and shook his shoulder, but he didn’t s

  • My Beta Charming   Wedding

Sean studied his reflection in the mirror with a critical gaze. He was dressed in a sleek black tuxedo tailored perfectly to his frame. He adjusted his bowtie while looking at himself. His hair was gelled neatly back with one stubborn lock falling over his forehead. He frowned at it for a moment, then decided to leave it. It didn’t look too bad. In fact, everything looked fine. According to him, he looked refined and cultured, but only Violet's opinion mattered. He could only hope she would find him good enough."Wow! You're looking so handsome. Just like Sunny. He is my favorite," the little girl of Azriel exclaimed, jumping on her tiny feet. Sean didn't know how Sunny was, but the wonder in her wide blue eyes was both endearing and comical. Sean chuckled. "Thank you, sweetheart," he replied before giving a smug look to the alpha. Azriel rolled his eyes and drawled out, "Relax. She just called you a cartoon." The little girl grinned at that and nodded enthusiastically, clearly con

  • My Beta Charming   As Green As Their Love

"What's wrong with Snoopy? He is way too quiet these days," Sean asked, having noticed the change in his behaviour. "I don’t know," Violet replied, shaking her head softly. "He mostly keeps to himself now, lost in his own world." She had tried asking him if something was bothering him, but he wouldn’t say anything. It’s like he had shut everyone out. Everyone except for Chris. Sean exhaled slowly, then shifted closer and settled beside her. "So… what did you two talk about today?" he asked. She shrugged lightly. "Nothing special. Just the pack. People." Her fingers twisted together in her lap as she added, “and… kids.” The last word carrying a trace of tensin. Sean leaned back against the bedpost, his hands cradling the back of her head. Violet turned to look at him, searching his face. "Do you want kids?" she asked softly, as if the answer mattered more than she was willing to admit. Sean leaned back against the bedpost, his hands cradling the back of her head. Violet turned to l

They returned home with lots of memories. Life had suddenly become so beautiful, so perfect that the traumas of the past no longer haunted her. Sean didn't even know that he had healed her; that he had saved her from her ownself just by holding her hand. She lifted her hand into the sunbeam, watching the ring shimmer. A soft smile touched her lips as warmth bloomed in her chest. Even though the ring was light, she felt its weight. The weight of promise and devotion, it carried. And it was a weight she welcomed without hesitation, one she knew she would carry with pride for the rest of her life."Wow!" Sienna exclaimed. "He gave you that?" She reached for Violet’s hand and examined the ring. "It’s so pretty.""Thank you," Violet said softly. "I loved it the moment I saw it.""Sean really has an eye for such things," Sienna stated with a smile. "You’re a lucky woman."Violet laughed at that, but she couldn’t deny it. Each gift Sean had given her was no less than amazing, carefully chose

  • My Beta Charming   Proposing To Marry

She had seen the island in the day. The lush greens, blue sea, and sand beaches..but in the night, everything lay under the thick blanket of darkness, except for their beach house. Still, she loved riding in the chopper. Never in her wildest dreams had she imagined she would one day soar through the sky like this. She looked over at him to ask why they were taking a chopper ride in the night when she caught a subtle frown creasing his forehead. His minds eemed to be elsewhere. "Qhat's wrong?' she asked, concerned. He looked at her and blinked as if processing her question. "Nothing's wrong. What do you mean?" he asked. "You look distracted," she pointed out. "I am not," he brushed off her observation. Violet also didn't think much of it, assuming he was tired. She was tired too, but the excitement to get more experience with him overrode that. Smiling, she put her head on his shoulder and looked out. As they flew over the sea, the night vast and endless, until something glowed be

  • My Beta Charming   Island Fun

She woke up to something soft and moist grazing against her cheek, tracing the curve of her face in slow, deliberate strokes. She moaned. Still half-asleep, she shifted, then finally opened her eyes, only to find his face hovering inches from hers.He drew back just enough to look into her eyes, a warm smile playing on his lips."Good morning," he whispered. Before she could respond, he leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to her lips, easy and warm. She melted right there, her heart soaring high. Tucked safely in his arms, being doted on by him..she felt the luckiest woman in the world. He pulled away a moment later and looked down at her with quiet affection. Her lashes fluttered as he lovingly grazed his knuckle down the length of her face. "I wish I could tell you how beautiful you are, but word fails me," he admitted softly. Loving her wasn't the end; it was an eternal process as he found himself more and more in love with her with each passing time. "You're the reason I want to

  • My Beta Charming   Vacation

Violet slid her shades up into her hair and climbed down the plane. She tried to keep her mind on her steps, but the view in front of her was so breathtaking that she couldn’t help it. She knew Sean was rich, but rich enough to own a private plane and an entire island? That was news to her.Awe glistened in her eyes as she took in the view. Tall coconut palms swayed in the distance, their green crowns decorating the bright blue sky. The air felt cleaner here, lighter, carrying the scent of salt and sea. Waves played with the trees and her hair. She drew in a deep breath, filling her lungs with the scent. She couldn’t wait to explore this place. "You like it?" he murmured in her ear, almost startling her. Violet looked over at him. He was standing behind her, smiling down at her. "It's breathtaking," she replied, clearly still in awe."Your first time to an island?" he asked, taking her hand in his as he led her towards a car that he had gotten shipped a day ago. "I am not as rich
