ALINA

I opened my eyes with a smile already on my lips, featherlight kisses trailing the skin of my bare shoulder as the smell of bacon greeted me.

My heart soared, every single part of me dancing with a mixture of yearning and satisfaction all at once.

"Good morning, sunshine," Theon whispered against my skin, his deep voice paired with the sexiness of his accent to rob me of the last dose of common sense I still possessed.

My skin tingled with awareness, and my thighs squeezed against each other as pressure started to build slowly between them.

"Good morning, baby." I hummed.

"Did my princess have a good night?" He asked, a smile in his voice.

I spun around in his arms, bringing us face to face with each other. Slowly, and with a happy grin on my face, I lifted my arms, wrapping them around his neck. Our eyes were locked on each other's, his icy blue glinting with amusement.

"Well, I'm having a good morning." I made a face.

He laughed softly, shaking his head from side to side. "Wh

ALINAVoices floated over me, lulling me out of the darkness that was wrapped around me like a blanket on a snowy day. To say I felt like shit was an understatement. My whole body felt like it was dipped in cement and weighed down by tons of brick, my head was pounding a staccato rhythm, contrasting the vibrations that moved through my bones from underneath me.A cough wracked through me and I forced my heavy lids open. The space I was in was small and dark, and judging from how it rumbled and jerked, I could immediately tell that I was in a car. A moving car.“She’s awake, boss,” someone – a man judging by the voice – announced gruffly.I could barely make out anything except the dark silhouettes of men that seemed to be far bigger than I could ever be. My memories seemed to evade me, and try as I might, getting them back was proving more and more difficult.“Send her back under. She isn’t supposed to be able to get any geographical leads.” The command was pretty simple, and from the

ALINA"What do you mean?" I snapped back at him. "What the hell could I possibly do to your Alpha?"He craned his neck, meeting the eyes of everyone that hovered around us before he smiled and gestured for me to come with him."This way, please, Luna.""I am not going anywhere with you," I challenged. "Who do you think you are to question your Luna?"Shocked gasps rang in the space and it took me less than a single moment to realise that I'd fucked up. Vanessa was watching me with narrowed eyes, her brows equally creased in surprise.I guess Jaella usually didn't speak to the Beta like this. But wasn't that sad? I mean, she was the Lycan Queen, why would she have to bow to anyone that wasn't her mate?My chin jutted out as the thought formed in my mind. I had already lived a wrecked life once, I'd be damned if I sat back and let it happen a second time."I'm not going anywhere with you. If your king wants a word with me, then he should request my presence himself. I will not answer to

  • My Billionaire Rebound   MAKING CERTAINS

ALINAMy heart wasn't in my throat, no. It had dropped down to shatter between my parted feet like a wrongly placed glass vase from an extremely high shelf.I couldn't draw in a single breath, and it had more to do with the fear that was throwing a carnival inside of me than it did with the hand that gripped my throat. Although, that was a very helpful bonus. The tears that were camping behind my lashes started to make a descent, one salty stroll after another. "You don't have to do this," I whispered, my voice cracking on more than just a sob as I tried to make the osycho behind me see reason. "Just like your boyfriend didn't have to get involved and steal you away from me that night. Just like you didn't have to butt in and stop a family alliance from happening." He dragged his tongue over my right cheek, the act making me shiver with disgust that couldn't be hidden. "Do you see how many things didn't have to be done?"I wanted to tell him all about how he spiked my drink and how

  • My Billionaire Rebound   WILL YOU?

THEONThe doorbell rang, drawing me out of the conversation I was wrapped in over the phone. Legal battles were draining, and right now, this one in particular was making me bite my tongue, exhaustion seeping through me like liquid through paper.“Are you expecting someone?” Ava asked. She was looking at me with expectation, and it just made me feel even more like shit. The woman I wanted to see more than anything in the world right now was refusing to take my calls. She didn’t want to even talk to me, that’s how bad I hurt her.“Not that I know of.”My voice must have carried the weariness that ate my bones because she offered me a sad smile.“She still hasn’t answered any of your calls?”“No.” My tone had a finality to it. I knew that Ava wasn’t to blame for any of this. If anything, she had tried to stop me from making the stupid mistake that I ended up making; but that didn’t mean I wanted to discuss the specifics of y crumbling relationship with her right now either.I sauntered

THEONThe headlines were fucked up, and if wasn’t for the dread that reminded me I had gravely fucked up, sitting at the pit of my stomach, I might have even found it funny enough to laugh. What was the one thing I had always been very good at keeping? Receipts. Why, you may wonder. Well, they tell the truth when humans decide it’s more fun to do the exact opposite.“What are you planning on doing?” Ava asked. Some of the venom had left her voice, and judging by her current stance – shoulders rigid and back straight, eyes hard even though they struggled to not be – she was still very much in Alina’s support group.Hell, I was too, and I was the one on the other end of this.My head hung low. “Asides offering her an apology, I have no idea.”Ava dragged in a deep breath. “I hate to say this at a time like this, but you fucked up big time, Theon.”I turned to meet her eyes. “Trust me, I know.”“I mean, you’re high profile, especially here in LA. How could you do something as stupid as a
