Chapter 33: Mom is home

Some tension in the next chapter!

“Mom! You're home! I'm so happy that you're home!” I said in her hair. She laughed loudly and patted my back. P stood next to us with a big smile on his face and a big bouquet of flowers. Moose barked excitedly the whole time and was jumping up and down with excitement.

“Come in guys, I will cook some food. Does curry sound good?” I asked them. They both nodded and I think mom almost fainted hearing that, curry being her favourite food. I put Higher Places by Jamie XX and Romy on and started making curry. Mom and P took place behind me and we started talking about our life since we were last in our house together. “I heard you had a date?” Mom asked me, curiosity taking over as always. I froze for a millisecond but then remembered I did go on a date with Javier. “Yeah, I went with a guy from my school. Didn't work out.” I responded. “Maybe next time. I'm sure there are lots of guys wanting to go on a date with you.” Mom said with a smile. I sighed.
