Cassy

The sun gradually dimmed, covered with clouds and the sky became unclear. That was an indication that it was about to rain. I moved away from the window back to the centre of the room. As I walked, I noticed a door in the corner of my room. I made a scrunching face, surprised as I walked closer to the door, wondering where it led. I placed my hands on the doorknob and just as I was about to open the door, a knock came on the door and I was jolted back to reality. I walked back to the centre of the room before I responded.

"Come in!" The door opened immediately, revealing Drake as he stood there with a pale look. I didn't know what he came for. He walked in slowly and jammed it.

"I want to have a word with you." He said, and I raised my eyebrows in surprise. What could it be that he wanted to talk about? I signalled that he sit down, but he shook his head, rejecting the offer.

"What is it that you want to talk about?" My voice was barely above a whisper, grunting as I tried to sit down on the edge of the bed.

"I will just go straight to the point and be very clear with you." He paused, looking away briefly. I had no idea what he wanted to talk about. Perhaps he had agreed to do it with me. Part of me was excited but I didn't want to get my hopes up.

"As adults that we are, and the fact that we are here on our own. I would like us to be as professional as possible." He paused and I chuckled. I had an idea of where he was heading. I rolled my eyes away from him as I waited for him to continue what he was saying.

"I am your father's employee. I work for your father and my job is to look after you, not to bend you over a table or the edge of the bed and fuck you. That's not the type of relationship that we are supposed to have." I didn't let him finish what he was saying before I interrupted him, forcing him to listen to what I was saying.

"I totally understand what you are saying. I guess I was thinking that we could have a different relationship aside from the employer-employee kind of one. But it's fine...." I paused, sliding my hand over my thigh to bring his attention to it in a subtle way before I continued what I was saying.

"It's fine if you want to maintain professionalism," I added in a low tone and he nodded his head, walking out of the room. He halted just as he reached the door, and he tilted his head to look at me before he talked.

"You still haven't had anything to eat." He said and I smiled softly.

"I will eat something later. Thank you." He walked out of the room without a reply. I picked up my phone and immediately dialled my father's number. He picked up the call at the first ring and he didn't waste time.

"How was your flight?" He didn't even have time for pleasantries. I nodded my head as if he were here with me.

"You know how it can be. You didn't call me." He cleared his throat and I prepared my ears for a lengthy explanation.

"I talked with Drake, and he told me that you were fine and resting, that was why I didn't call you."

"Okay... I just wanted to let you know..." He didn't let me finish before he interrupted me.

"Drake will take good care of you. Stay safe and do as Drake tells you. He is there to protect you...." I ended the call. I was not ready to be lectured on his importance in my life. Suddenly, an idea struck my mind. I wanted to move around the city and perhaps, stop by to get something to eat. I picked up the table phone and pressed the speed dial. He picked up the call immediately.

"I need to talk to you." The call ended immediately, and within a minute, the strange door in my room opened, and he walked into my room. I failed to act surprised even though I was.

"So that door leads to your room?" I asked and he inhaled deeply before he replied.

"Yes, it does. That is why I told you that we were going to be roommates." He said in a low tone and I nodded. I wasn't interested in having that conversation with him. I walked to the wardrobe to select a dress and then his voice started to echo.

"Why are you selecting a dress?" He asked in a low tone.

"I want to drive around the city." By this time, I had already taken off my top, revealing my bare back to him. I tilted slightly to see the look on his face, to see the expression, but there was nothing there to read.

"You can see that it is about to rain right. And besides, haven't we agreed to be professional? Why are you changing in front of me?" He asked and I laughed sarcastically. I completely changed into the new dress and walked to where he was standing. I looked him in the eyes before I gave him a response.

"I am being professional except if you have a different motif, changing like that should not be a problem. Also, I am aware that it is about to rain. That would be the fun of it. Driving inside the rain." I smiled, patting him on the shoulder as I walked past him.

"One more thing. I don't want you using that door anymore. If you want to come into my room, come through the front door." He was quiet for a while and I assumed that he was trying to gather his thoughts before he talked.

"Where exactly do you want to go?"

CassyAside from the fact that Drake was being annoying, I was feeling anxious as well. I walked into the office, and Drake tried to walk in with me, but I didn't like the idea. I turned around, facing him."You can wait outside. I got this." I said in a low tone. He hesitated for a while as his eyes continuously darted between me and the director. After a while, he exhaled heavily, looking me deep in the eyes before talking."I will be outside." He murmured but I heard what he said. I gave him a nod and he walked out of the office, shutting the door behind him. I heaved a heavy sigh as I turned back to face the director to greet him properly."I am sorry about that director. My name is ...." He didn't let me finish what I was saying before he completed it on my behalf. "Cassandra Orlov. You will be a manager in the company. Your father and I spent ample time talking about you and your recent achievements in college. That's why you...." I had no patience to wait for him to finish wh

CassyIt was my first day as an intern. Excitement rubbed with anger filled my being as I prepared for my first big day. I didn't let anything distort my thoughts, not even thoughts about Drake. I stood there in front of the mirror, admiring myself. I smiled for a while before I walked out of the room."Good morning, Cassy." Drake greeted, and I nodded in response to his greetings. Last night was a disaster, and I just didn't want to think about it, but being in his presence makes all the memories flood my mind. "It's your big day. Your first day as an intern." Why was he trying to hold a conversation with me? His job was to protect me, and he was already doing that. There was no reason to hold any conversation with me. I was silent for a while, trying to focus on what was ahead of me. How I was going to answer the questions that would be thrown at me. "I guess you are too excited and anxious at the same time. Trust me, that was the exact feeling I got when I applied for my first jo

Drake"So tell me!" Her voice suddenly echoed, jolting me from my reverie. For a moment, I was sinking deep into my thoughts. I tried to know what her thoughts were but each time that I was closer to getting a clue, I came up with nothing. I looked at her briefly and just when I wanted to talk, she started to talk."I was curious, " I said, puzzled. What could she be curious about? "Do you have someone in your life? Like, are you in a relationship?" I chuckled slightly. That question was quite unexpected. I quickly gathered my thoughts."Why did you ask? Why are you curious about it?" I asked in a low tone, tilting my head back to look at her as she said nothing. She smirked. What was going on? All of a sudden, she changed, started acting, and was a whole different person. "I don't understand. I have the right to know every detail of who is on my payroll. Plus, I want to know your reason." She talked slowly like she was counting her words as they escaped her lips. There was a moment

CassyInternships had always been something I wanted to try out. I mean, what was the need to spend all those years in school just to end up caged in the house as if I were the most important person in the world. I understood that my father was trying to be a dad after he left us all these years but he needed to understand that it could not happen by restricting me to the walls of the house like a prisoner. As we drew closer to our destination, I could not help but feel excited, but the thought of him staying with me and even sharing the same condo always cut my excitement short. He sat there across from my chair in my father's private jet. Each time I tilted my head towards his direction, his eyes were always on me. I only wondered what was going through his mind the whole time. Finally, the announcement came from the pilot that it was time for landing. He cleared his throat to break the long silence and I was jolted back to reality."You need to buckle yourself and prepare for lan

Cassy "Satisfying!" The first real word that came out of my mouth was after a tense moment of playing with myself. I could not help but chuckle lightly as my own voice reverberated in my mind. A thought suddenly crept into my mind in the middle of recalling what I had just done."Going to live with him. Sharing a condo with him wasn't a good idea. It was only going to worsen the feelings. The attraction and need for me to get in bed with him." I let out a heavy breath as I tried not to think about it. I knew it was almost impossible to talk my father out of the idea of allowing Drake to go with me. I became confused. Even if it was going to be really uncomfortable staying with him, I still preferred him over anybody else. Wild thoughts filled my mind and I just could not help but turn to the other side of the bed, hoping to sleep away all the bugging thoughts. Each time that I closed my eyes, the only things I saw were his images. How perfectly shaped he was, his pointed nose and s
