"Frederick, be honest with me. Did you really do all of this?" Jennifer furrowed her brows and questioned, "I know you were unhappy with Mr. Graham this morning, but resorting to such aggressive methods isn't the solution."

Frederick was stunned. After standing up for Jennifer, he found himself misunderstood, even choosing to side against him!

His heart sank, and he sarcastically replied, "So, you don't even believe me? Fine. If you think it was me, then it was me!"

No matter how he explained, it seemed like no one would listen.

Jennifer's heart skipped a beat.

"I didn't say it was definitely you. I'm just asking," she clarified.

"How dare you speak to Ms. York like that! Who do you think you are? Ms. York, you must get rid of this troublemaker!" Several of Zeke's lackeys immediately chimed in.

Hugh also had a contemptuous expression.

"Ms. York, you owe me an explanation. I can't be falsely accused like this," he said as he exchanged a knowing glance with Ivan.
