6. Jaxx who?

"So tell me about Jaxx." Eve says as she sits on her brother's bed and Sophie starts putting her clothes in the dresser.

"Your brother would kill you." Sophie laughs walking back over to her suitcase grabbing more clothes.

"I didn't say anything, just said tell me about him." Eve shrugs trying to pretend as if it wasn't a big deal. She didn't know why she wanted to know about Jaxon but she did, she kissed the guy, flirted with him and for a short period of time really wanted the guy and not in the way she wanted to sit and talk to Sophie but in the way Daniel still wanted her.

"Well he is Jaxx. He is charming, has his moments of sweetness and is pretty easy on the eyes. Mr. Star basketball player, Mr. Popularity and Mr. Getting anyone I want." Sophie says with a small laugh "I love Jaxon don't get me wrong but he is the biggest man whore I know. Uses anything he can do to get with girls hence why your brother will kill you...well kill him." Sophie explains and Eve frowns a bit. She kind of hoped they had a small connection and not just in the sexual tension way but maybe he was just playing with her.

"Well he is pretty gorgeous." Eve says as she flips his pillow in her hands, "But oh well he is off limits." She shrugs, throwing the pillow back on the bed.

"Eve?" Sophie says, giving her a questionable look.

"What?"

"Nothing." She shook off finishing unpacking.

Jaxon sat putting his clothes in the dresser that would be his room until he figured everything else out. He heard Eve laughing in the backyard with her brother and Sophie and he smiled a little. She was really cute. He hated that he probably came across as a small ass since his best friend so nicely shared his hot body comment but at the same time thought it might not have bothered her that much.

Well he hoped it didn't.

Part of him hated that she was Ethan's sister because that does put her off limits. Completely off limits, like the rule of best friends don't screw around with best friend's sister. Yet he kind of, sort of already messed around with her but they only really kissed. He didn't think it would be too awkward.

Well he hoped it wouldn't.

Jaxon placed his suitcase in his closet before walking out of the room down the hall to see them all out by the pool. Eve was laughing as Ethan picked her up slamming her into the water. Knowing he had to talk to her at some point he debated on what he should say. I mean he had to go from looking at her as a potential hook up to his best friend's sister and that was going to be hard to do. Especially if she wore that bathing suit around him.

"Jaxx man come on get in." Ethan called and Eve stopped her wrestling with him to brush her wet hair out of her face.

"Yeah come on. I'll get you a towel." She offers climbing out of the pool to him, "I think we should maybe talk." She whispers, tossing a glance to see her brother trying to pull a fighting Sophie into the pool with him.

"Yeah I think you're right." He agreed.

"Ethan, I'm getting everyone a towel. Do you or Sophie want something to drink?"

"Umm...yeah Sis anything is fine." Ethan calls grabbing at his girlfriend," Sophie why come to the pool and not get in." he laughed.

"It's cold, I don't want to." She said pulling her hand back but it was too late and he caught it pulling her in, "Ethan!" she shrieked.

"I'm sorry." he fake frowns, making her laugh.

"It's ok I still love you." Sophie smiled wrapping her arms around her boyfriend's neck and legs around his waist as they moved around the water.

"Good because I really, really love you too." He smiles leaning in to kiss her. He did love this girl, he loved her more than anything and it scared him that he almost lost her. That they almost ended only because he was more than sure no one will ever mean to him what Sophie does, no one would ever make him fall in love as hard as she did.
