I love Ashton so much and I am so excited for our big day tomorrow but I’m extremely nervous. I’m having cold feet. I know I want to marry him but I’m scared. I mean, marriage is a big deal. I don’t know if I can do it. I have been standing in front of Victoria’s room for almost ten minutes now. I want to go in and speak to her but I don’t want her to think I’m unserious, I tried speaking to Jane but she is of no help, I wanted to speak to Dad but he is not here tonight, he is at Ashton’s bachelor's party. Ashton didn’t want to have a party but Ryle and Aiden insisted on throwing one for him. Dad joined them because didn’t want to be stuck with the girls and he says he wouldn’t want to miss Ashton’s bachelor’s party for anything. While they had gone, Victoria, Jane, and I had a little fun girl's night. We did a lot of fun activities and we had a lot of fun. But eventually, we all got tired and decided to go to bed, of course, I didn’t go to bed because I was too nervous. I release
"They are coming Alpha Ashton," He says; his voice cracking its way out. I relaxed back on the chair acting as if what he said meant nothing. "Alpha Ashton," He says I turn to look at him; still relaxed. "They are coming." He says panicking his words outI exhale, turning to face my front. I know what he said and I know what that means but no one dares to come to my land and make me panic."Alpha…..""Does anyone know about this?" I ask"I was going to tell the others but you are the alpha so I thought..….""Yes or no" I cut him offI hate it when people beat around the bush."No one knows ." He responds "Perfect, I can handle it myself. Go." I instructed He kept to where he stood staring at me bewildered. "But..""You heard what I said, Andrew. Go." I sayHe exhale probably wondering why I said that "Okay." As he turns to leave I called out his name; making him turn to look at me expectantly. "Do not alarm the others." I say He nods and walks out of the room.I know what he’s
~MAYA POVI feel the sunlight on my face, I don’t understand how but I am sure I closed the curtains last night before I went to bed. As I heard fast loud footsteps sounding near me, I felt a mesmerizing warmth slowly spreading throughout my body. I turn away from the sunlight, my eyes still closed I yawn back to sleep but was cut short by a tap on my body. I groaned sleepily turning to the other side. As I felt another tap on my body, I slowly opened my eyes, and a soft smile came to my face as I saw Victoria standing by the bedside."Good morning," I mumbled; my voice barely above a whisper because of just waking up. "Breakfast time Maya, get up or you’ll be late."I groan turning away from her "Do I have to wake up now?""Yes, you do now get up." She says pulling the pillow away."Oh lord." I groan while sitting up. "Did you have to do that?""Go." She instructs pointing at the door.I roll my eyes and stood up from the bed, as I walk to the bathroom door, I turn to look at her "J
This is my first time being here and I feel like I have been here before; as much as I hate to admit it, it feels so homey. Everyone and everything seems to be routined, perfect if I would like to exaggerate. This is seriously over my expectations, I thought that the land of werewolves will be different; it will look brutal, and bloody but here I see and feel nothing but peace and harmony. Victoria always tells me that the land was ominous but now that I’m here I don’t think of it that way. Maybe it’s because I just got here, maybe it’s because she never wanted to let me leave and maybe it’s because the werewolves are hiding behind their hypocrisy, after all, no human is here with them. Yet."So, what do you think?" Jane asks Jane is Victoria’s sister’s daughter, she is my age and she is my gateway to the werewolf land. I can’t explain how happy I was when I met her, although Victoria thought it was a big mistake introducing Jane to me probably because Jane supported my stupid decisi
I woke up on a bouncy comfortable bed, I was covered with a silky comforter, and my eyes started to slowly open till slightly hazy, once my eyes cleared; they started to adjust to the brightness of the room. "What happened?" I mumbled to myself as I touched my forehead, it was burning, and I’m will be having the worst kind of headache. I squeezed my eye shut gently messaging my temples. Bad day, worse headache. What did you expect, Maya?As I turned around, I had a clear view of my environment; it was different, diverse, and most importantly, it was strange; strangely beautiful.Am I in a stranger’s room?Oh no, this is bad, this is way too bad.I jumped out of bed almost as if I was bitten to get off it. My eyes glistened with fear when I realized that I wasn’t at home and I’m not talking about the home where Victoria and I stay, but I’m talking about the home where the humans are. I am in a stranger’s house on the werewolf land.Holy shit! I think I’m gonna puck……no, I’m gonna die
"We have to go." She rushed to me "Why? Where are we going? And where is mommy?" I asked suddenly feeling the urge to see my mom"Let’s go now!" She ordered grabbing my arm and rushing out of the room "But we can’t leave without mommy," I said trying to pull out of her grip but she is incredibly stronger than me. "Where are you taking me, I don’t want to go with you, I don’t. Let go of me, let me go." I cried but it went to deaf ears. She didn’t listen to me nor even cared to look at me, she just dragged me with her. "Let me go, let me go." I whined still trying my best to get off her grip.As we reached the door, fast footsteps sounded behind us. It sounded like many people were running in our direction. She quickly opens the door and pushes me out."I will take care of them, if I don’t come out soon, run just run." She said; her rasping voice echoing into my ear "Bu-""Run, Maya’allin, run."My eyes went wide as I gulped the lump in my throat. Her voice was scaring me, I had many
A sharp scent of dust welcomed me as I walked into the storeroom. Oh, man! This place is so fucking dusty. I waved my hand dismissively, coughing out to the dust that just couldn’t quite dance through my nozzle. I stepped into the room and started to look around, every corner of the room seemed to be screaming in desperate need of cleaning. Let's just get this over with. I walked to the front shelf, scanning the top shelves for the item I needed. There it was! I guess so. I took out a box that looks like an old jewelry box or something like that, I blow the dust off before I opened it. Just as I thought, it contained jewelry and a weird stuff that looks like jewelry. I took out a chain that was wrapped around something that looks like an eyeball. "What the hell is this?" I muttered to myself gazing at it with a questioning brow. I dropped it back into the box and continued to look through it. Necklace, earrings, bangles, ankles- seriously, isn’t there anything worthwhile here? I rol
I kept to where I stood, unaware of what to do. I know for sure that if he walks toward me and questions me, I will ramble like an idiot and probably won’t be able to defend myself. My mind kept telling me one thing; run Maya run. But I know that if I run, I won’t make it anywhere, and worse, his doubts will be cleared and then everything will be over, I will be hanged to death and my revenge will never be fulfilled. "Are you a werewolf?" He asked again dropping the weights on the ground. I nodded in agreement gulping the lump in my throat. "Are you sure?" He asked I nodded instantly stepping backward. I seriously did not expect to be caught on my first day. I haven’t found anything about that bloody wolf and I’m not ready to go leave. I have to do something, but what?A smile tugged around the corner of his lips as his eyes rank every inch of my body. It was like he was checking me out. I’m sure he is wondering if I’m good enough to be feasted on or not."What kind of hybrid are y
