Chapter 12

While I was actively preparing for my wedding, my mom told me that Nash had committed suicide. He died on Thanksgiving night. His parents' cries were deafening. My dad quickly put on his clothes and rushed over, fearing that the two elderly people would have problems, as there was no one to take care of them at home. There was a suicide note on Nash's table, which read: "If I could start over, things would be better."

I didn't care if Nash had a second chance at life. What I knew was that such a selfish person, no matter how many times they started anew, would never attain a perfect life. Life inherently carries regrets, but he consistently placed blame on others for all his mistakes. Such an individual was destined not to find happiness.
