Angelina's POV

When I woke up I noticed I was still alone. Last night I had a nightmare again, I haven't had it in a while but with the thoughts of Josh cheating on me brought those haunting dreams back and the worst thing is that Ashley was the one to notice God I hope she doesn't bring it up.

When I got to the kitchen I saw some breakfast and a note on the side and it read

Good morning Angel

I'll be out for a while applying myself into a school since dad haven't done it yet but it's no worries. I also made you breakfast, I'm sure you feeling hungry. Also about early this morning with your nightmare you don't need to explain anything to me if you don't feel comfortable.

Oh and you left quiet a bruise.

'You left quiet a bruise' her words left me really confused but made a mental note to ask her once she gets home.

Just when I was about to enjoy the breakfast she made me Josh walked in.

"Oh good morning honey" he kissed me cheek "sorry I was caught up all night at the office"

"It's ok honey I understand you a hard working man" I said with a soft smile.

He nodded and grabbed a piece of my bacon "Hey that's mine make your own" I said taking the half back.

"Why should I make my own when I have a lovely wife to do it?" He asked with a playful grin.

"For your info I did not make this Ashley did" I said with a duh tone.

"Oh where is she I need to have a talk with her?" He asked looking around.

"She went to apply for a school since you didn't do it" I said getting angry "and why didn't you tell me she is an intersex?" I asked with smoke most probably visibly coming from my ears.

"Honey no need to bite at me ok, I just forgot to apply because she is 19 I wasn't thinking much and about her being intersex I didn't want to you freak out" he said trying to calm me.

"Well because you weren't thinking to much about it you sleeping on the couch for a week" I said not caring what he had to say and walk to the bedroom to get ready for my day.

Ashley's POV

I woke up at 9am this morning. Everything that happened since I moved here just seems so surreal, dad cheating on his wife, her having crazy nightmares causing her to fight in her sleep and me being in the middle of this whole thing.

I searched some schools close to the house and found one 'Northville high' that is a 15 minute drive from home and that is where I am this moment.

As I enter I see this cute blonde sitting at the front desk. Damn I'd do anything to smash this cutie.

"Thank you very much Ms.Barry and I'll be seeing you on Monday" I said giving my famous smirk.

She chuckled "Yes of course Ms.Black" she said with a playful smirk on her face.

"Nah nah Ms.Barry please just call me Ashley ok" I said leaning onto her desk.

"Alright Ashley I'll see you Monday, you better be prepared, now go I have lots of work to do" she playfully shoo me away.

"I will be Ms.B" I saluted and left the school.

I checked the time and it was already 12:30, can't believe I was in there for 2 whole hours.

When I got home I noticed that my so called father's car is parked out front.

Well this is going to be interesting, fuck I just hope Angelina's not home right now.

Just as I walk in I hear the voice I did not want to hear right now. Fuck why is she home right now.

"Hey you finally back" she said with a welcoming smile.

"Hi yeah I got in at Northville High" I said as I sat on the couch.

"That's great news Ash, when will you be starting?" She excitedly asked.

"Monday" I huffed.

"You don't sound to excited" she said sitting down next to me.

"I..." she gasp cutting me off, "WHAT HAPPEN TO YOUR FACE??" She screamed taking my face into her hands.

"You is what happened Angel but it'll heal" I shrugged and she removed her hands.

"Oh that's what she meant by 'you left quiet a bruise'" she said

"Yip that is what I meant" I said chuckling and she joined in.

"I'm sorry about that" she said looking down. "Hey hey its alright like I said it'll heal" I said making her look up at me.

"You sure?" "Yes I am so do you know where's my father?" I ask changing the topic.

"Yeah uhm he is freshening up right now." She said looking at me weirdly, I know she heard the annoyance in my voice when I asked her.

"OK I'm going to head up to my room if you need me you know where to find me" I said and went up to my room not in the mood to face him anymore.
