“I lied today”

The guilt was eating her. She never lied to us. She was always an outspoken person and loved to share everything with us and now hiding something from her father. She couldn't feel right and it was making her guilty.

Charles was not her biological father, but they shared the bond of father and daughter. He could move the mountain for his daughter to just protect her. He admired her and Alina also loved him, and I could see guilt in her eyes.
