Chapter 43: Whispers
Meredith woke up the next morning alone in the large luxurious bed. She had taken a shower the night before hoping to shorten her morning routine. Also she was trying to wash away her worries and her fears regarding her heart possibly shattering again. She knew she had to steel her heart and just remind herself that she was living in a world of make-believe. She was playing house with a billionaire.
