Madeline seeing Lennex in a new light and understanding our heartless enemy
I woke to bright sunlight in an empty bed. I stretched, feeling much thinner and looked down at my flat stomach and remembered that I had my baby. I sat up quickly and saw Lennex sitting on the couch feeding his son. Hawke was suckling his father's pinky.
"He got his fangs already," I asked curiously and Lennex glanced over at me and nodded happily. He looked like a completely changed man. I grinned at the t-shirt he must have dressed me in and headed towards the pair. Lennex smiled at me and pulled me onto his lap.
"I never in a million years thought for once that I'd have a family but here I am with a beautiful mate and stunning son," he said sincerely and I bit my bottom lip at the emotional state he was in.
