2 It's a fake marriage!

With no doubt Julien looked forward to this day. He practically ignored her for days just to keep his boundaries from her. He knows that this was not her fault. This marriage was fake for him but not for Monica. They had all those sweet interactions between each other when his ex-girlfriend didn't even get to know the depth of their love life.

Pain flashes over his face as Monica takes off her heels and sits at the edge of the bed. "Monica….."

"I don't want to be here for another night." She takes out her suitcase and starts packing her clothes. She doesn't turn around to have a talk with Julien. Her hands are working fast. Julien locks the door as he glares at her pace of hands. Her back stiffens as she turns to him. Her cheeks are red and her eyes are as blurry as Julien's heart. Julien mustn't feel any pain out of guilt and relief. His eyes bulge at the sight of her crying face as she tries to hide it from him.

A gentleman would never let a girl sleep around a motel or some other place like her friends or exes. Julien doesn't stop her either. He shoots to his feet, arms folded across his chest as he begins pacing. The last thing he is going to admit is that he is a gentleman too. Monica returns wearing a shirt and pants. He doesn't pay any attention to her clothing; he takes a step forward blocking her to get to her luggage.

He keeps on stepping forward until Monica is pinned to the wall behind her. Her eyes flew to him. Rage boils between them as the temperature rises. Monica noticed the veins pop from his neck as he inhales a huge amount of air. Monica's imagination is all broken. There is not a bit of hope left in her.

He gives her an owlish look. As she rolls her eyes and says "do not try to convince me. Mr. Tedd. We are off boundaries." Her voice was shaky. Julien keeps the silence ahead of her protest as he shrugs and says "I don't give a damn. It's a fake marriage, remember. Today you will sleep here on the floor as said. Tomorrow if you want to stroll around the city, be my guest." He dismisses himself as he rolls his sleeves and turns around to see her anguish look. "Sorry, but I would rather not."

Monica marches back to the luggage with a slow creak she slams it close and drags it out of the room unlocking the door. Her eyes never meet him as Julien grows frantic and soon after taking his calmness to hell he yanks her from taking the luggage outside as he muffled her second protest with a big slap on her mouth and closes the door. Her hands caged into his big palms. Monica stiffens to his touch.

Julien spread her legs with his to stand eye to eye with her. Straggling her from down as that she won't fight back to him. She doesn't fights back. "Julien…….." his mother steps in as they both find surprising still standing with the same stance as his mother's eyes go zero and she slams the door closed. "Sorry, honey. Should I wait……"

"No worries, mom. Give us a second. We will be out." Julien releases her. Her breath catches as he hands her coat and steps back. "Perfect timing, Christ, let's get going." Julien says as he gets out of the room.

Monica kneels down to the floor with a soft thud as her eyes get wet. She looks around to ensure that nobody sees her completely broken state as Julien steps in as his eyes soften when Monica wipes her tears and tries to get to her feet. Julien helps her to stand. His eyes track her flushed cheeks when he suddenly kisses her forehead and tugs her to him. "Mom is waiting downstairs. She bought your favourite coffee too."

A soft chuckle leaves from Monica's throat as Julien shoves himself from her and takes her cold hand in him and leads himself down the floor. They watch the fireworks outside the house as Monica heats up the coffee which was bought for her.

Julien's mom steps in. Her face crumples. "I'm not interfering in your life. But believe me, we have been worried about both of you staying in Mexico and it seems that he doesn't stay around too much. I just wanted to give you guys a visit. He said that….." Monica cuts her and says "I'm not backing up. If he leaves me it's okay. But I'm never leaving him. Mrs. Tedd."

"What about you already calling me mom? When will that change dear?" Monica smiles as she hands her the coffee and one for Julien to the table where he sits crossed. He twitches as Monica hands him the coffee. Their skin brushes each other and Monica turns her way to Julien's mom.

"Your father probably didn't have the best time to interact with you. Julien, and I believe it's your responsibility to keep a track over him. He has been off to media and cultural events. Where I'm not allowed. But why is that?" His mother sets her cup and she folds her arms crossed.

"Mom, it's not a best place for you. I and Monica often visits. She knows why you are better off alone in the house watching over the house. How's Ford anyway? He had an injury but he hasn't shared any update about it." Julien sighs as he shifts to Monica's side. He coils his arms around her waist and lifts her to sits beside him. Monica feels the twitching of his muscles as they flex for a few times under her embrace.

Julien's mother muffles her laugh and says "he got a promotion from the F1 Team. They said he will be leading the newbie team too. He misses you. He got discharged after a week. He even tried to call Monica but I guess her phone has been broken since the accident. Isn't it? He asked me to deliver the coffee on behalf of him." Julien muscles tensed as he hates the idea of having Ford calling Monica and giving her a decent present when they are about to sail their individual ships to anywhere they want but distant from themselves.
