Chapter Six
Ria's POV.
His hand further went down my hips as I raised it up to his waist. I could see the print of his dick against the towel, which he was putting on.
He removed my clothes from my body slowly as the moans slowly escaped from my mouth. I felt his hot breath on my skin, and he then kissed my neck slowly, giving me hickeys.
I was left with my bra and my panties. His mouth kissed my chest, while his other hand caressed my boobs together with the bra. His other hand went to my panties as he then massaged it slowly.
My back arches due to his touch.
"It was nice having fun with you." I heard him saying as he then stood up from the bed, leaving half naked and bewildered. Was this a joke? Was he really leaving me this way?
What the fuck just happened now? Did he just tease me? He walked back into the closet, leaving me on the bed in shock.
I tried standing up as I was still in amusement. I zipped my gown as I then walked out of the room. There was no way I would wait for him after what just happened.
This was the highest level of embarrassment, and whatever he just pulled made me hate
*****
My hand kept on hitting my head, remembering what happened between Luca and me. What made him act that way? His touch, his hot breath against my skin, his lips against my skin. I wanted to feel that way again.
How could he just get to toy with me that way? 'It was nice having fun with you.' That word, which he said, wouldn't leave my head. Was that all?
Was that what he meant by me spending a night with him?
I entered the house and also got to realize that there was no one at home. This was the perfect opportunity for me to search for things that I could get to use against them.
I called Luca as I wanted to let him know the plans I had in mind, and he picked up almost immediately. "Luca, I just got to realize that my Priscilla isn't at home alongside my stepmother. I just wanted to let you know about me going into their room."
"No! Don't you dare go in there. They just couldn't leave the house that way." He reprimanded.
"What do you mean by that? This was the perfect opportunity for me to figure out one or two things." I said in defense.
"I warned you alre—" I ended the call before he could reply to me. I didn't call him to ask for his permission. I dropped my bag on the couch as I then walked into their room.
I slowly entered into her room, which formerly belonged to my mother before she got to enter. The room was neatly arranged, and that indicated how much I needed to be careful in my searching in case I was going to get caught.
I entered the walk-in closet as I began to scan the shelves, my eyes scanning the rows of perfume bottles and jewelry boxes. Maddie must have kept the will in a place where I couldn't have easy access.
I opened the top drawer of her dresses, my hand moving quickly as I thoroughly searched for the contents. I moved on to the next drawer, and I saw a very strange jewelry box that has a lock on it.
I could feel a slight glimmer of hope in me. 'This must be it.' As I was about to carry the box, I heard loud voices outside the room.
'Oh! shit.'
I froze in place; my hands were still on the jewelry box. I didn't know what to do at this point anymore. The closet was widely opened, and there was nowhere I could get to hide in the closet.
"God, please help me. I should have listened to him."
"What about Ria? Have you seen her today?" I heard Maddie's voice. I bet she was not alone. I removed my hands. the small safe, which I had touched while I tried closing back the drawer.
"No. The last time I saw her was last night, and I think she was up to something." Priscilla mentioned to her mother. What the hell was happening here? Why did she have to eat me out that way?
My leg kept on tapping on the floor while I waited for them to move outside so I could escape.
"I think I saw her bag on the couch the other time. I feel like she should be at home already." Priscilla also added.
"What do you mean by she's up to something? You should be able to figure out everything that she is up to. That was the reason why I allowed her into this place in the first place." Maddie replied to her daughter.
That just showed how much I needed to be careful whenever I was in the house with them. I shouldn't make calls or keep texts that could expose me later.
"Do you think she will be able to figure out all of our secrets and bring us down? We worked so fucking hard to get to this stage." Priscilla uttered, a hint of determination in her tone.
"She must not figure out what we did to her father." Priscilla further added. My eyes blinked as my head tilted in confusion. What did they mean by that? What did they do to my father?
I touched my pockets, but it turned out that my phone was no longer in my pocket anymore. I wanted to record whatever they are discussing right now.
"What about the papers? I hope they are in a safe place." Their voices were getting lower.
I felt my sweat trickle down my face. I tried moving away from the drawer as my hand hit one of the jewelry boxes, which was placed in the center of the room.
Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! I quickly tiptoed to the back of the door, hoping I wouldn't get caught.
My hand immediately went to my mouth while I thought of an excuse I could buy them with. I could feel her close to the door already. My eyes were fixated on the doorknob while she slowly twisted it. The door opened slightly as she tried entering.
I should have listened to Luca.
Suddenly, I heard the door opening, but it turned out to be the closet door.
"Ma'am! There is a person asking for you outside. He needs to see you now." I heard the nanny's voice, which made me heave a deep sigh. I shouldn't be reassured now; I hope she doesn't still walk into the closet.
"Who is the person?" Priscilla questioned.
"He claims he is Logan." My eyes opened widely on hearing that name. What the hell was Miguel doing here? Was he here to see my sister?
I was so happy that he got to come at the right time.
"Let's hurry up, Mom. Let's go see him together." Priscy urged her mom as they both rushed out of the room.
"I know you are in there; can you hurry up?" I heard my nanny whispering. I slowly tiptoed out of the room, and then I saw her standing at the door entrance.
"Hurry up!" She indicated as she faced her palm towards herself, moving her fingers alongside I walked faster, and I got to get out of the room.
"Thank you very much for your help." I held her hand, and I squeezed it so tight.
"You shouldn't be thanking me. I have to go now." She excused herself as she walked away from the hallway. I hurriedly went back into my room.
I wasn't in the mood to see Miguel right now. God only knows what he was doing here.
My hand reached for my phone, and it turned out Luca called several times, along with text messages trying to figure out if everything was okay.
"I'm okay now! Someone came to my rescue." I replied to him as I then let out a huge sigh.
It wasn't up to a few minutes before I heard a knock on my door. "Come in." I instructed, and it turned out to be my mammy.
"You are being asked for downstairs. You should hurry up." She passed across the information and didn't even wait for me to reply before leaving. Why the fuck did she have to do that?
I managed to get down from the bed as I then walked downstairs.
"Who is asking for me?" I questioned, my eyes roaming across the room.
"Luca." Priscilla answered, and I then finally got to see him sitting on the couch.
He was backing me, which made me not see his face, and he couldn't see mine too.
What is happening here? What the hell was he doing here? Was it because of me?
Ominiscent's POV. Three years had passed since that night the night that had almost taken everything from Ria. The memory of Jade, the cliff, the terror it still flickered in her mind like a shadow but now it belonged to the past. Luca had been there, every step of the way, turning what could have been despair into safety, into a love so fierce that nothing could touch it. Their home overlooked a quiet lake, where mornings were painted with gold and evenings glimmered with pink and purple hues. The garden was Ria’s favorite place; she had insisted on planting jasmine, roses, and lilac along the pathways. The scent of flowers mixed with the gentle water breeze, creating a world of calm they could retreat to whenever the past crept too close. Ria had built her own life in those years. Her boutique—a collection of rare perfumes and custom fragrances—was thriving. She had started it small, but each scent told a story: a memory, a desire, a fragment of her soul. Luca adored surprising
(JADE'S EDITION) I had waited for this day for as long as I could remember. Nothing, no threat, no warning nothing was going to stop me now. My father had ensured the case against me was dismissed, clearing the way for me to act without hesitation. If I failed today, they might keep targeting me, and I could never allow that. The thought of finally seeing Ria at my mercy sent a thrill through me. I had always dreamed of this moment, imagining the satisfaction of watching her helpless, terrified, completely at my mercy. Finn had promised to help me, and the fact that he was willing made the anticipation even sweeter. She had announced her engagement to Luca. That would never happen—not as long as I lived.“Luca will save me,” she said with an air of confidence that made me laugh. She was so sure of herself, so convinced that everything would go according to her plan. How naive she was.“Not this time,” I murmured, lips curling into a dark smile. “There’s no escape tonight.”I led her
Epilogue Five Years Later The city was waking up as I drove home from my latest shoot. The early morning traffic hummed softly beneath my tires, the skyline glowing with the first hints of sunlight. After five years, life had changed in ways I never imagined. I was no longer just Avia. People knew my name. My face graced magazines, billboards, and movie posters. I had become a successful actress, admired by many, and yet… as much as I loved the lights, the cameras, and the applause, nothing compared to the warmth waiting for me at home. Pulling into the driveway, I noticed the laughter before I even opened the door. It was bright, full, and alive—the sound of Tristan with our children. My heart lifted immediately, a warmth spreading through me. This was home. This was what mattered. I stepped inside and froze for a moment, taking in the scene. Tristan was sprawled on the living room floor, our little ones climbing all over him, their giggles filling the air. He looked up, sa
Chapter 196 Avia's POV The house was quiet in the evening, soft golden lights casting a warm glow across the dining room. For the first time in weeks, I felt a calm that wasn’t edged with fear. Tristan was beside me, his hand resting lightly over mine, the baby safe and kicking gently. We had survived everything. Finn was behind bars. Brianne was neutralized. The company was slowly stabilizing, shareholders reassured, and the media… well, they were satisfied enough to stop hunting us like vultures.I looked at Tristan, really looked at him. The chaos, the danger, the near-death experiences, and all the betrayals—they had changed us. But we were still together. Still standing. Still alive. He caught my gaze and gave me a small, tired smile. “Dinner’s almost ready,” he said softly. His voice had that quiet strength that always calmed me.I nodded, letting myself relax into the moment. “I can’t believe we’re finally having a normal evening,” I whispered. He chuckled lightly. “Normal i
Chapter 193 Tristan’s POVThe sun was rising, casting a soft orange glow across the city. I sat behind my desk, the office feeling strangely calm for the first time in weeks. The chaos, the danger, the betrayal, it all seemed to be fading into the background.Avia was beside me, sitting in the chair I had pulled close to mine. Her hand rested over her stomach, the baby safe and kicking lightly. She looked exhausted, but alive. Beautiful. My heart tightened at the sight. We hadn’t slept well. Not since the warehouse incident, not since Brianne had tried to finish what she started. But the relief was undeniable. She was here, safe. And I wasn’t going to let anyone take her again.I rubbed my face. The events of the last few weeks were replaying in my mind like a broken recording. Finn, finally caught, was behind bars. Brianne, just arrested, would face justice soon. And yet, the company, the shareholders, the media—they hadn’t stopped breathing down my neck.I looked at Avia. “I think.
Chapter 192 Tristan’s POV I had just finished going through reports on the company, trying to stay calm, trying to think about Avia and the baby. But instinct told me something was off.I didn’t hear the usual click of the security door. No footsteps in the hall. Just silence.I stood and scanned the room, heart tightening. Something in my gut told me it was serious. Before I could react, the door creaked open just a little. A shadow slipped in.“Tristan,” a voice whispered. Smooth. Cold. Calculated.Brianne.I spun around. She had a gun in her hand. My stomach dropped.“You really think you can keep her safe?” she said, eyes wild but controlled. “You really think you can protect her from me?”I swallowed hard. My hands rose slowly. “Brianne… put the gun down. We can talk. You don’t have to do this.”Her laugh was sharp, bitter. “Talk? Oh, Tristan… you’ve had your fun, haven’t you? But it’s over now. I’m ending it.”Avia had been in the office earlier. I glanced around frantically,
