LOGIN"Where are you?" He asked. I was shocked. I thought I was with Zack right now. That was when I realised it was just a dream. I had fallen asleep while dressing. I took my bag and ran off to meet Zack.
I was ushered in by a beautiful young lady when I got to the restaurant. He sat waiting for me, and the moment he saw me, he stood up and started walking towards me. He hugged and kissed me lightly on the cheek. "What kept you so long?" He asked. "Uhm...I," I started. "You said you were coming like an hour and forty-five minutes ago." I'm sorry I was called urgently to do something in school," I lied. I couldn't tell him I was dreaming of someone I thought was him kissing me. He would flare up. He then held my waist, gently pulling me along side with him. "Then you must be tired." I smiled foolishly by his side. We walked into the main restaurant. It was big and beautiful. It was designed with blue light all around. The room itself was dark. You could only see the lights shining brightly in the dark. I loved it so much. Blue was my favourite colour. I was so happy. He suddenly stopped walking with me, letting go of my hip. I stopped walking and turned back. He was just standing, looking at me. I was confused. "Zack, what's going on," I asked. "Oh, nothing. Go on in, I'll meet you soon, " he said. "Where are you going to?" I asked again. "I just need to make an urgent call," he said, turning back. I felt uneasy, but at the same time, there was nothing I could do. I walked in slowly. Immediately I walked past the door, their was a not so loud blast and large pile of confetti was thrown all over me, followed by a loud shout of "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" I was so shocked and looked behind me to see some people coming in with a big cake. I didn't know what to say and definitely didn't know how to react. The light was turned on, and I finally realised the place I had thought was empty was a well decorated room. It was highly decorated, and trust me, the crew who did this work were the best. It was amazing and clearly the way I loved it. "Happy birthday, sweetheart," Zack whispered into my ears, hugging me passionately. I turned, hugging him back. He gave me his bear hug. "Thank you so much, Zack, you really didn't have to." "but I wanted to. You said you haven't celebrated your birthday before, so I wanted to make it a special day for you." He said, rubbing my hair gently. "I love you, Ali," He said. "I love you too, Zack." I really loved him. I have never witnessed this before and today I was. I was so happy. We were served dishes of different sorts, and I ate to my satisfaction, but of course, I left space for my dinner with my dad. That was important. It was a really memorable day, and I never forgot it. Back to the present I looked at Zack's face again. I felt anger go through my vein. I wanted to hurt him, but how do I do that? That was the question. I didn't know how to, but I knew I wanted to. I need a plan, but what do I think of? I walked to the basement to receive some fresh air. I remembered sitting here all night discussing with my dad. I missed him. He would have told me what to do. I felt lonely and alone. I needed someone to talk to, but who was I going to talk to? Who was ready to listen to me? Who was going to understand? Who was going to give me the exact answer I wanted? Who was there to help? I was drowning in my thoughts and didn't realise it started raining so heavily. I finally realised but I was dampened. Water poured down my head, to my face, to my chest down to my legs. I could feel the cold of the rain slap against my body, but I was too sad to let it overtake me. I was too angry to feel cold. I was too mad to accept. I let the rain pour down my face as fresh tears went down with it. I cried for as much as I wanted without showing since it blended so well with the rain. I missed my dad and wanted to talk to him. I could let the world burn just to hear his voice. I fell on the sit behind me as I continued thinking. I didn't even know when I fell asleep there.“I want you to clear my schedule for the day.” I said, handing some documents to Sam, then walking towards the dining. My breakfast was ready, and I sat to eat. “Yes ma,” Sam said. “But ma, do you have other plans, or are you still feeling sick?” I understand his concern, I never miss work. Even when it was a holiday, I’d go to work. I find work to be an escape route from my painful life, boredom, my cheat of a boyfriend, and more. I find pleasure in working. It was my coffee, but I guess not today. I needed to get off work. It’s been 3 days since the Vin Marshal’s Vin Rush launching and the meeting of Zack, and I haven’t been myself. I was still mad that he had forgotten me, I was angry with myself, and I didn’t slap his smile off his face. I was still mad he looked that gorgeous. And worse still, I was mad he had saved me back then, spoke like a kind gentleman, and smiled to my face. THAT CHEATING CREATURE. I thought I could work the thoughts off, but I could barely focus my
I walked in wearing a gorgeous golden dress, beautiful stones designed on the dress, more than hundreds of them. It was shining brightly. The back of the dress was bare. It was designed with golden chains across it. It was long and covered my heels. It had this attractive thing that turns head when I walk. On my head, I had my hair tied into a bun on the lower part of my head behind my neck. The bun was just small and cute. I wouldn't want something to make me uncomfortable. I loved styling my hair that way because it gave me a mature look. It also made me look elegant and neat. I also did some curls by the side of my hair. it makes it stand out more. My makeup was light. In as much as I liked to stand out when I dressed, I still loved light makeup. Sometimes I go out without make-up, yes I am that beautiful. I wore a black heel and carried a golden purse to crown up the magnificent work of art, my beauty. I walked gently and elegantly into the hall. It was big and filled with peop
I was sneezing every two seconds. "Ma'am, are you okay?" Sam asked repeatedly. "I'm fine. I just caught a little cold. " He urged me severally to take medicine, but I declined. I'm definitely not a fan of drugs. I was literally freezing on the inside. I felt really cold. "Ma'am, please, when would you be ready?" Sam asked. "Ready for what?" I asked, confused. "Ma'am, Mr Vin Marshal is launching Vin Rush tonight, and you were invited." I listened attentively then asked. "What were you saying again?" "Ma'am, are you okay? are you sure you don't want to go to the hospital?" Sam asked, definitely concerned. "Sam, I am fine, really," I said tiredly. He repeated all he said, and I was surprised I had forgotten about it. "By what time is it?" "Ma'am, it's by seven pm." "Okay, arrange everything and come get me when it's time." "Yes, ma," he replied but still stood. "Am I missing something here?" I asked. "Yes Ma'am" "What is it?" "Ma'am, you wouldn't want to b

It was a very long day, and I waited impatiently for Sam to return. I had a lot of questions I wanted to ask him. I wanted to know how it went. I wanted to know if I made the right decision. "Is Sam back yet?" I asked my secretary. "No, ma, he isn't," she replied. I angrily went back into my office, shutting the door loudly behind me. How long would it take him to make a business deal with someone?. I checked the time again for the umpteenth time that day, and it has just been eleven minutes since I came in. But why does it seem like forever? I was so tired after the meetings I had today and wanted to rest. I was about to lay on the bed when I heard a knock on the door. "Come in," I said loudly and at the same time quietly. The door flung open, and Sam walked in. He was dressed extravagantly. Of course, he was imitating my brother. "Where have you been?" Immediately. "I'm sorry, ma, the car broke down." "How was it?" I asked impatiently. He handed me his phone, where he had r
I woke up brewed my tea and went straight to planning my day. I was meeting the REINE company today and haven’t even thought of how it was going to go. “Sam, what is on my schedule for the day?” “First, you are closing the deal with the Whiteneys by nine o’clock, by twelve o’clock you have a meeting with the shareholders of Ali Ltd and lastly by two pm, you have a meeting with REINE company.” He read without making any mistakes. “After that, what next?” “Nothing else ma” he replied. “Did you look into the accomplishments of REINE?” I asked carefully. “Yes ma” Good.” I was about walking out when I thought of something. I definitely don’t want to be at that meeting. Trust me, it will be eventful, but I planned to make my revenge very slow, well planned, and smooth. Isaac Friedmann said “the sweetest revenge is done slowly.” So, yes, slow is the plan. “Do you have anything doing today?” I asked, turning slightly, my head on the air, and my ponytail hanging a few inches be
