Madeleine
He seemed to listen to me half-heartedly and answered,
“You have done nothing yet but I only wanted the alpha to be impartial and punish the guilty. Looks like he punished you enough by making you fight for hours, so yes, I am satisfied with his punishment.”
Hearing him made my eyes go wide. Is that how he had interpreted the entire situation?
All I knew was that the entire crowd, not just Hayden had started to root for me and maybe hope that I didn’t die due to Steve’s attacks or my own exhaustion.
“I…don’t know what to say to that.”
I simply replied the first thought that popped up in my head. It was the truth and he turned his attention to look at me.
“Nothing against you, but I wouldn’t want the alpha to go lax on someone who was caught openly stealing something and selling valuable information to outsiders. After all, it’s against the rules.”

Raine just shrugged her shoulders, “I would have asked you to go with the first dress if that was what I wanted.
