My face must have drained of all color because she immediately came near me and added, 

“What is the issue, dear? Why are you panicking? Nobody is going to literally pounce on you, I was kidding you know.”

Raine said while trying to reassure me but it was as if my feet along with the rest of my body had gone cold.
