A Deal from the Devil

Sansa's POV

The air went still.

I blinked. “What… what did you just say?”

“You heard me.”

He stepped closer, his body almost touching mine now. The heat radiating off him made it hard to think.

“You want revenge?” he asked. “You want your inheritance back? Your dignity?”

I couldn’t speak.

“I can help you do that,” he said. “I

can get my best lawyers on the divorce.”

My breath hitched. “And why would you want to go against your own son?”

He looked me dead in the eyes.

“Because the second he touched you and hurt you, he became my enemy.”

I flinched. That wasn’t the answer I expected.

“That’s twisted,” I whispered. “You met me just two weeks ago."

Shit. She'd been counting.

“Maybe,” he admitted. “But it doesn’t make it less true.”

“Why do you even care?” I asked. “You said this wasn’t about wanting to be in bed with me. So what is it, Winston?”

He leaned in, his mouth barely grazing my ear. “I care because I see you. I see what he never did for you and I'm dyin

Winston’s POV“I'll be damned if I let you go, Sansa.” I hissed, grabbing her face to kiss her. Just then, the door burst open and Sansa went rigid against me. I hissed low under my breath, pissed. “Shit.”Sansa was still backed against the desk, lips parted, eyes wide in horror as the secretary stood frozen at the door like a deer caught in headlights. My cock was still rock-hard and I wanted to devour her more than anything. Talk about bad timing. I moved quickly, adjusting my jacket as I helped Sansa straighten up, tugging her skirt down gently over her hips. Damn, I wanted to taste every inch of her creamy skin. Her blouse was wrinkled, her hair slightly undone from my earlier frenzy. I reached for her with careful fingers, smoothing a strand back into place. But she still looked like she’d seen a ghost.“Shouldn't you knock before entering the goddamn office?” I asked, my tone cold and slightly irritated. The secretary blinked, stammering like a schoolgirl caught sneaking

Winston's POV I was quiet for a moment longer than I should’ve been.I hadn’t expected Killian to come back home, much less beg for my help. Not after six years of acting like he didn't belong to the Wolfe family. I let him live his life. But I knew he'd never be the son I hoped for. He squandered the Wolfe inheritance and turned his back on the family name. But here he was, standing in my living room with that foolish grin on his face. “I want her back, Dad,” he said again, more firmly this time. “I want Sansa back.”I masked my anger with a scoff, crossing my arms. “I’m not sure she wants you back, Killian.”He shrugged. “I don’t care what she wants. She’s my wife. I’m not going to lose my marriage. Not to her pride. Not to whatever phase she’s going through.”That word, ‘phase’, lit something inside me. Was that how he saw her hurt? As a phase? I studied him carefully. I’d funded his lifestyle from the beginning, watched him burn every cent I gave him, and then magically reapp

Winston’s POV Killian was pants down. In my guest room with my own maid?! I didn’t shout. I didn’t blink. I simply stood there, staring at him like the fool he was Killian saw me first. His eyes widened in horror. “Dad!” He shrieked and had the decency to quickly shove the girl away and pulled up his pants. "It's not what you think, wait…”The girl gasped and scrambled off the floor, grabbing at her clothes.I stared at my son.The same son who just begged for my help. Who cried about missing his wife. Who had me spend over a million dollars to create a romantic fantasy for a woman he clearly never deserved.I was beyond disappointed, I felt like punching him in the face. “What the hell is wrong with you?” I asked, my voice ice-cold.“Dad, for real, It’s not what you think—”“It’s exactly what I think.”My hands were shaking with rage. What would the world think if I punched my son? I had to hold my anger. Killian didn’t love Sansa. I knew that. Somehow I knew it. Who planned a

  • My Father-In-Law's Craziest Obsession   Chapter 15: The Blindfold

Sansa’s POVThis was all I was worth. I sat on the edge of my new couch, if you could even call it that, surrounded by half-unpacked boxes and a lingering scent of fresh paint. The studio apartment was small, almost claustrophobically so, and the air inside was stale. It wasn’t home. Not yet.Maybe not ever but this was all I could afford. I wrapped my arms around myself and stared at the chipped coffee table the movers had just assembled. My things, what little I had left after Killian drained me dry, were stacked against the walls. I hadn’t even hung the curtains yet. I didn’t know how to. Killian always hired someone for that.A loud thump from upstairs made me flinch. The movers came down the stairs one by one, their boots clunking on the narrow steps. One of them, the taller guy with a grease-streaked shirt and a kind face, looked at me apologetically. “Miss, the bathroom sink’s got a bad leak. And the kitchen plumbing’s...well, it’s seen better days.”I sighed, closing my

Sansa's POV Where was he taking me?Why the blindfold?I asked myself those questions repeatedly, my legs trembling slightly. The car had been moving for what felt like an eternity, and the soft hum of the engine wasn’t helping calm the storm inside me. I didn’t know if it was fear or excitement or both.“Stop it,” Winston’s deep voice suddenly broke through the silence beside me.I jerked at the sound of him. He was so close. Too close. I could feel his warmth radiating through the space between us, the nearness of his body made me feel unnamed sensations in my belly.“Stop what?” I asked shakily.“Stop biting your lips. Unless you want me to help you.”His voice was teasing.Help me? Was he threatening to kiss me? I should have been mortified. And yet, I purred at the sound of it, clenching my thighs instinctively. How could just a few words do that to me?“Where are you taking me?” I asked again, needing something, anything to distract myself from the way my body reacted to him

Sansa's POV Oh my goodness! I was thrown over his back like I didn't weigh more than a rag foll. He only chuckled. “You really thought I’d let you limp the rest of the way? Relax, Sansa. I’ve got you.”And strangely, I wanted to believe him. But I was too stubborn to. “Let me down!" I yelled as I felt the air whoosh around my face. I could feel cold breeze on my thighs and I wiggled up cover myself. His rough palms suddenly landed on my ass and I gasped. “Stop moving," he warned. Did anyone see that? What would they think? Was he seriously abducting me? It felt more like that by the second. Where was the soft spoken, gentle and kind man I'd met on the plane. This version of Winston Wolfe was both infuriating and enough to make e girl horny. “Let me down!" I yelled but he didn't listen. We walked for a few more minutes and then finally, I felt his arms clutch my legs and drop me on the floor, steadying me. The soft tug of silk around my eyes fell away, and I finally blinked

Sansa’s POVThis was a fucking show! I could feel my face reddening with anger. How could he do this to me? Propose? Marry him again? I was barely surviving the nightmare we'd called a marriage and he said we should remarry? “Why can't you sign the div—" I wanted to say the words but they stuck to my throat. I was going to be the bitter wife that didn't want to accept a kind gesture. That's what the media would say. That's what he wanted them to think. “Never mind, I'm out of here,” I mumbled anI turned away from Killian with every fiber in my body trembling as the entourage of cameras followed me like a swarm of locusts. They were shouting my name, flashes of the speed light nearly blinding my eyes, and all I could think of was “how did it come to this?” How did a perfect day get so ruined? How?! “Miss Vale! Just one look!” One of the reporters called after me. “Mrs. Wolfe! Are you leaving your husband?” “Miss Sansa,” she paused. "Can we address you as Miss Vale? Are yo

Sansa's POV I was going to die. I was going to die in a dark studio apartment in the middle of nowhere with nothing but ruined makeup and high heels in my hands. Those were my thoughts as I whipped around to face the figure in my apartment. I stared right into the face of a masked man. Judging from the length of his hair and his build, I knew it was a man. But who could it be? “Please," the word slipped out of my pups helplessly as I looked at the figure. Did he have a weapon? Was he going to kill me? Kidnap me? But the figure didn't talk, he just continued to draw closer. There was nothing here but cheap furniture. Could I defend myself with a couch? Very unlikely. Goodness, I didn't know what to do. I was lost. “What do you want?" I managed to croak out with what little courage I had left. I was practically shaking in my shoes. I couldn't breath, I was hyperventilating. “I have lots of money, you just have to tell….tell me…what you want,” I was shaking now. I couldn'

Sansa's POV I couldn't breathe. How did he get here? How did Winston know I was here? How did he find me? The moment Winston burst into that bathroom, my heart stopped. I was pinned to the cold tiled floor, my hair scattered around me like I was being dragged around like a rag doll. My dress was torn at the neckline, barely clinging to my chest, and I could feel the weight of the drunken man pressing down on me, his breath reeking of alcohol and mouth odor. I kicked, I screamed, but my voice had gone hoarse. I was drowning in panic.Until I heard him. The voice of my knight in suit. "Touch her again and die."His voice didn’t sound real. It was low, guttural, feral. He didn't sound human. He sounded like a wounded animal in heat. The man atop me froze. My eyes turned to the door and there he was. Clothed in a gray shirt and pair of slacks, with his sleeves rolled up, a crimson coat thrown over his outfit. Damn, he looked every bit like the knight I thought he was. All he ne

  • My Father-In-Law's Craziest Obsession   Chapter 36: Club Luxe

Winston's POV The halls of the Wolfe estate echoed with the sound of my footsteps as I stormed down the corridor. My heart was beating pretty fast with unease. I had to be sure. I had to confirm it with my own eyes. Sansa couldn’t have left. She wouldn’t just walk out of this house without saying a word. Not after everything that happened. Was she crazy? “She has a fucking death wish!" I hissed in disbelief. Could she possibly leave the estate unescorted after the attack at her place? I couldn't believe it. Yet, that call from her friend, the panic in her voice, wasn’t something I could ignore.I took the staircase two steps at a time and when I reached her room, I didn’t bother knocking. I pushed the door open and scanned the room.It was empty. The bed was neatly made. Her robe hung over the chair, her makeup untouched on the vanity. But the closet door hung open slightly, and I could smell lavender. Her shampoo. She'd bathed and left for a night club?! My fists clenched.

  • My Father-In-Law's Craziest Obsession   Chapter 35: SOS

Winston's POV This was a nightmare. A nightmare I couldn't wait to escape from. The Wolfe Estate had never felt more like a freaking porn site. Sansa had choked on her food. I knew she was uncomfortable. I knew she wanted to be anywhere but near Eleanor. But what could I possibly do to help? Nothing. I had to watch her struggle with dinner and then flee to her bedroom. Damn, was she okay? What was Eleanor playing at? Why was she back at my house? I was still trying to digest what had just happened when Eleanor suddenly said, “Have you lost appetite for food? I know you can't wait to unwrap me." I hissed, “You're being shameless, Eleanor." But she chuckled like she didn't mind being heard. "What’s there to be ashamed about? I had the man with the best dick in the world."I set my fork down at once. This was it. I was done being civil with this crazy woman. "I’m done with dinner," I said, standing up calmly."What? What did I do?" Eleanor called behind me, voice filled with

Sansa's POV I felt it before I saw it. I could feel the unmistakable heat of someone standing too close behind me. And then a hand moving up my thigh.I froze. What the hell?My body stiffened and I spun around instantly. I came face to face with a man. He looked to be in his mid-thirties with drunken eyes and a predatory smile. “Don’t touch me!" I snapped angrily. I was just a little tipsy but I sure didn't want to be groped by some random drunk man. "Whoa, easy there, sexy," he slurred, stepping closer. “Don’t be shy now. I saw the way you were looking around. You want this.”I could feel bile roll up my throat. “Touch me again,” I said, “and you’ll regret it.”He reached out like he hadn’t heard a word I’d said, the annoying smirk still plastered on his face. Big mistake.I didn’t hesitate. I brought my knee up and landed it right between his legs.He crumpled with a pained gasp, arms wrapping around his groin as he staggered backward, eyes bulging in shock.“Oh my God!” on

  • My Father-In-Law's Craziest Obsession   Chapter 33: Red Lace and Running Feet

Sansa’s POVMy eyes almost fell out of the socket. What did she just say? I coughed, sputtering on the table shamelessly. “Are you okay?" One of the kids asked as he handed me a paper towel. “Are you alright, dear?" Eleanor asked and pretended like she didn't know why I'd almost choked on the pork. “I'm fine," I mumbled, clearing my throat. Winston at least had the decency to look mortified “Wouldn't you like that?" She purred right into his eyes. I could see his jaw tighten from across the table. “Stop it, Eleanor," he hissed. It was the voice of a strained tiger. Almost like he was barely holding it in. Even I felt a shiver run down my spine from the table. But Eleanor wasn't affected, she just laughed at him. Like he was throwing a joke and not warning her with his sneer. “You know,” she said, glancing at me with a smirk before turning to Winston, “we used to eat like this every evening. Just the two of us. With a little something extra for dessert which we'd lick off

  • My Father-In-Law's Craziest Obsession   Chapter 32: Meet Mrs. Wolfe

Sansa's POVDamn. She was stunning.Tall, elegant, and dressed like she’d just walked off the cover of a fashion magazine. Her cream coat clung to her figure perfectly, and those ridiculously high stiletto heels clicked against the marble floor loudly. Announcing each step she took. Her hair was swept into a sleek chignon, not a strand out of place. She looked expensive, sexy, classy and wealthy. I stared, feeling about three inches tall. The shock on Winston's face said everything I needed to know, this wasn't some old flame or a distant memory. This woman meant something. Something deep and relevant. “Eleanor," he breathed her name. Just the same way he often did mine. Before I could speak, before I could even breathe, she walked toward us. Her eyes barely flicked in my direction. Almost like I was invisible. Like I didn't exist. Then, like a scene from some dramatic soap opera, she leaned in and kissed Winston on the lips. Full on the lips. Not a peck. A kiss that lingered.

Winston’s POVI looked at her. She was amazing. All my boardroom members were dumbfounded. They couldn't talk. “I think she's right, we will adopt this idea and work with our old partners,” the director said and looked at me. "What do you think, Mr Wolfe?" I nodded. “She has the final say." Sansa looked nervous and shy as she sat down. The meeting passed with me looking at Sansa all through. How could she be so smart and Killian didn't even realize that. She was an asset and I would certainly pitch her a partnership again. Soon, the meeting was over, I shook hands with the executives and we both walked out of the building. I had another meeting in the city in a few hours and I was bringing her along too. But as soon as we stepped out, we ran into him. Killian. And he wasn’t alone. His lawyer stood by his side, briefcase in hand.“What the hell are you doing here?” I asked.Killian’s smile was wide. “I’m here to discuss the divorce.”I stepped between Sansa and Killian, one h

  • My Father-In-Law's Craziest Obsession   Chapter 30: A War in Stilettos

Sansa’s POV When I had the willpower to get out of the shower, I decided to put the images of Winston out of my head. “Fine, if he won't touch me, it's fine!" I hissed loudly. The pencil skirt hugged my hips as if it had been stitched onto my skin. I hadn’t planned to look like this, not for a simple visit to Winston’s office, but when I glanced in the mirror, wearing just the fitted skirt, a v-neck blouse that was almost too sheer under direct light, and black stilettos that clicked like a warning on the marble floor, I realized I looked dangerous. My hair was pulled into a quick bun and wore a layer of red lipstick and mascara. I wasn't in the mood to play dress up. This was more than enough. With a deep inhale, I stepped out the front door, and there he was, Winston Wolfe, leaning against his luxury black sedan, his dark eyes set on me with the kind of look that could melt ice. The world had looked at me before. Men have admired. Women have judged. But Winston, he stared at

  • My Father-In-Law's Craziest Obsession   Chapter 29: A Man of Honor

Sansa's POV I stood there, trembling, fists clenched by my sides as my chest rose and fell. The door had slammed behind Winston like thunder as he stormed out, making me jerk. He was angry. But damn him! He didn't have the right to be angry! He had no right. How could he make me feel like this?I hated the way my skin still tingled where he’d stood too close. I hated how my body betrayed me every time he was near. But more than anything, I hated how much power he had over my emotions."I hate him," I muttered, pacing the room, my feet stomping into the rug. "He’s impossible! Arrogant, condescending and manipulative!"My voice rose with every word until I was shouting, my fingers tangled in my hair in frustration. "How dare he order me around like I’m some child? Like I don’t have a say in my own damn life!"I spun around, feeling my eyes burn as tears threatened to fall. Goodness, Winston was turning me, a heiress, to an irrational teenage girl! "He ignored me! Lied to me! And
