Sansa's POV

From the moment I stepped into the office that morning, I knew it was going to be a long day.

I had turned down Winston’s offer of the day off.

Nope. I couldn't slack off work.

My calendar was full, my phone hadn’t stopped buzzing since 6 a.m., and I hadn’t even had my coffee yet. Still, there was a calmness in me I couldn’t quite explain.

Maybe it was the full night of uninterrupted sleep, or maybe, just maybe, it was Winston Wolfe and his forbidden massage.

Goodness! This man would be the death of me. Even in his absence, I couldn't wipe the smug grin off my afe. .

I shook the thought away and powered up my laptop. I didn't need distractions today. I had work to do. Real, actual work. My fingers flew across the keyboard and I began sorting through emails when I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in," I called without looking up.

My secretary and assistant, Penelope peeked in and stepped forward with a large ivory envelope in her hand. "Good morning, ma'am," she said

Sansa's POV Finally, I had arrived at the hotel and that's when I grew cold feet. Could this go wrong? Did I miss him? Did I really have to see him tonight? Winston had become an integral part of my life and no matter how much I resisted, I'd grown attached to him. Having the big house alone didn't make any sense, even for one night. Be it that he was across the hall or not, I felt better knowing he was home. And I couldn't stand him up. He was here waiting and I had to see him. I sat in my car outside the Majestic InterContinental Hotel, both hands clenched tightly around the steering wheel. My heart thudded against my ribs as I was deep in thought, and I could feel the nervous energy literally prickling beneath my skin. The hotel stood like a gleaming jewel in the night, elegant and imposing, as if daring me to step inside."You are literally living with this man, Sansa," I whispered to myself, trying to breathe through the nerves. "No need to get nervous."But I was nervous

I was halfway to the Majesty InterContinental Hotel that evening when doubt sank its teeth into my mind. "What am I doing?" I whispered to myself, gripping the steering wheel tighter.I pulled over into the quiet shoulder of the road, my fingers trembling. For a second, just a second, the scandal flashed before my eyes. I could almost see the newspapers plastering headlines about the divorcee and her father-in-law. "No," I said aloud. With a swift motion, I made a U-turn and drove back toward the Wolf Estate. I didn’t owe Winston this. And even if I did, tonight wasn’t the night. We could talk at home, like normal people. I didn’t need wine or dim lighting or the intoxicating scent of that man to get my head all twisted again. As I approached the mansion, I looked at my phone again. No call from him. It was so unlike him. He'd have called to check if I was still coming. He always loved being a part of my day. “I guess he wants me to make my own choice," I muttered. As I arrived

Amelia's POV I woke up to the soft hum of the air conditioning system. I yawned and stretched and my skin was slightly chilled despite the thick, warm blanket wrapped snugly around my body. I shifted slowly, the plush fabric wrapping me like a cloud, and a contented sigh escaped my lips. “Oohhh," I purred softly, feeling my whole body almost sink into the mattress. My muscles felt loose, light, and utterly relaxed, as if I had been floating on air all night. After the previous night's stressful work, I was expecting some form of ache when I woke up. My shoes were too tight and Killian had given me a terrible headache with his show at the company. But why didn't I feel that tiredness I had expected? I blinked at the morning light shining through the curtains, confused by how deeply rested I felt. That’s when it hit me.Oh my goodness. I was massaged last night. I had arrived home to a trail of roses that led to my room and he was there waiting for me. Winston. His hands. The

Amelia's POV I stepped into the elevator, feeling the exhaustion of the day settle into my bones. It had been a long day, signing contracts and my heels were beginning to pinch and my shoulder ached from carrying my bag all day. “What a day," I sighed, reaching out to press the button to the ground floor when the elevator doors began to close, only to reopen again with a jolt.Ellen slid in like a thief as her eyes lit with mischief. “So?” she said, pinning me with her expectant stare. “What did you guys talk about? Tell me everything. Did he propose? Come on!”“Who?" She rolled her eyes, “Winston of course, who else?" I couldn't believe her, she was impossible. “Propose? How?" “Because I could see him trying to eat you up with his eyes." I blinked. “What?”She rolled her eyes dramatically. “Winston likes you! Don’t play dumb. He came to the office with chocolates and lunch like a man on a mission. I mean, if that doesn’t say love, I don’t know what does. Did he get down on one

Sansa's POVThe elevator hummed quietly as it ascended, but the silence between Winston and me was louder. I stood there, still reeling from the confrontation with Killian, my hands clutching the box of chocolates Winston had brought. I didn’t even have the heart to look at it just yet. My eyes were on the metallic elevator doors, reflecting a distorted image of my flushed, uncertain face.Winston shifted beside me. "Are you okay?"I nodded too quickly. "Yes... yes, I’m fine."He gave me a long look. I knew he didn’t believe me, not entirely. His gaze dipped to the box in my arms. "The chocolates. You used to like that brand."I blinked, then looked down. The gold-ribboned box shimmered faintly. I smiled softly, touched despite myself. "Thank you. That was thoughtful."He shrugged, smiling in that maddeningly charming way of his. "It’s nothing."I turned slightly to him, about to say more, when he reached out and gently tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. The intimacy of the gestur
