When midnight approached, the Alpha of the rogues had a big fire made, and in it burned several herbs. With open arms, she begins to speak in a language that no one understands. The flames grow higher and higher and burn black and red as she, screaming louder and louder, casts the spell.
With a roar that made the rogues whimper in fear, the flames break away from the fire and fly straight at the Red River Pack, covering the entire sky, and falling on the pack.
She smiles satisfied and calls to her men, who surround her.
- Go to the Red River pack, and bring me the alpha. The whole pack will sleep for 24 hours and no one will challenge you.
- Can we have fun and steal? – they ask with a smirk.
She looks at them with the eyes of her demon, and a chill runs down their spine.
- The only thing you will do is what I ordered. If you do anything that proves we got in their pack, your body will serve as food for my demon.
The rogues turned white with fear, and with a bow, they ran towards the pack.
When they cross the border, they see the static border patrols as statues. They didn't appear to be dead or sleeping. They were simply paralyzed in body and soul, as if time had stopped for them.
They go to the packhouse and search for Alpha's room. When they find it, they see Gary on the bed. They smile maliciously, grab him and take him to their leader.
When she sees them arrive, she orders them to take Gary to her tent. She binds the young alpha to a thin rope, which is secured to a rock. It might seem like it was easy to escape, but the dark magic that created that rope made the thin rope impossible to break.
She then goes to sleep. Gary wouldn't wake up until the next night. She had time to sleep, break camp in the morning, and leave for the cursed lands, inhabited by black witches, the worst vampires and the demons that were trapped on the Earth, under the sky, which lay beyond U.S. human borders, in a country called Canada.
On Dragons Island, Lucifron had told his father the dilemma he was in.
His parents, traditional as they were, thought there was no dilemma. If the son's fireheart was the Alpha of a pack, he would have to go with him. And without any further discussion on the subject, they go to sleep, leaving their son alone.
His parents might have been right. If this was the only love chance he would have in his long life, he would have to take advantage of it. If his fate was to be alone in 800 years, then he would be alone when the time came.
But he had told Gary it would take a month to make a decision, so he was going to enjoy that month with intensive training and hanging out with his friends. After a month, he trained alone and didn't know when he would be able to see his parents and friends again.
He goes to sleep, his heart light and Gary on his mind.
- The mutt's very nice and attractive. If he was a dragon it would be perfect. - Lucifron smiles at his stupidity. If he were a dragon, he wouldn't be Gary. Gary was perfect as he was.
He falls asleep and dreams of his fireheart. He dreams that he flies in the sky with him riding Zog and that they laugh happily, but the dream takes a strange turn when their children appear. Small wolves with wings that breathe fire from their mouths.
In the morning when he woke up, he was tired. Restless sleep didn't give him the rest he wanted, and in the early hours of training, he couldn't reach his potential.
In the afternoon, he joined his friends. They all go to drink and eat, and Lucifron tells them the dream, making them laugh.
- Your subconscious takes care of you easily. You should think less and act more. – Hanna tells him with a giggle.
- I've already made a decision.
- already? That was fast. What did you decide? – Dalkor asks, while putting an orange segment in Valdar's mouth.
- I'll stay a month training and enjoying your friendship, then I'll go among the mutts.
- I'm happy for you Lucifron. But I advise you to lose the habit of calling mutts to your pack, if you want to have a future like a Luna. – Abraxas tells him, laughing and making his friends laugh.
- Luna is a woman's title. I'm a man. - Lucifron says.
- You're not a werewolf to be a second alpha, pal. You will have to be the Luna. For all intents and purposes, he's an alpha. He's going to get you pregnant, so you're going to be his wife.
Lucifron starts to complain. Who told his friends he wasn't going to be the top of that relationship?
Even with that thought, Lucifron's mind is evaded by erotic images of Gary penetrating him as he screams in pleasure.
“Zog stop putting ideas in my head.” - he says to his dragon with an angry voice
.Zog laughs and rolls on the floor. He was having a lot of fun with his human.
Gary opens his eyes and is confused. He was sure he had laid down on his bed to sleep, and now he woke up in a room he didn't know. He sits down on the bed and looks around. Everything there was sinister. All the furniture in the room was black and carved with demonic shapes, the ceiling lamp was made of iron and looked like one of those ancient torture instruments, from the era of the human inquisition. On the only bedside table there is a small aquarium containing a huge spider, which makes Gary cringe in disgust. The window had thick metal bars, which, without touching, he identified as silver. He didn't see any door. How the hell did he get there? Was he dreaming? He pinches himself to make sure and scolds himself for his goofy attitude. When he removes the thin blanket that covers him, he sees himself completely naked. What the fuck was going on? This certainly wasn't the packhouse. He hadn't gone there by himself, so he could only have been kidnapped. But who in their right mind
When the Red River pack members see a huge red dragon fly over the packland, they hide their pups and scream in panic, the warriors prepare for battle.Zog drops the bags before letting his paws touch the ground and immediately Lucifron appears, leaving the pack in awe.The man in front of them was tall, handsome and athletic, with intense red hair and fully dressed. The beta runs towards the man, who was wearing a uniform, and bow.- Sorry for the reception. Are you Alpha Gary's mate? We didn't expect you so soon.Lucifron looks around. He wanted to see if Gary was okay.- Yes, I am. I came now because I felt Gary was in danger. Where is he?The beta lowers his head.- I'm very sorry to inform you, but we lost a day of life, and Alpha Gary was kidnapped in the meantime.- What? - Lucifron screams scared. – Do you have any leads?- Nothing. We looked all over the place and the only clue we found was a rogue camp, but there's no sign of the direction they went. Looks like it disappeare
Zog flies over the forest, but finds nothing to indicate where Gary might be. He cannot continue flying and risk being discovered, so he lands and shifts back. Lucifron felt lost. Which way to go, when you don't know which way Gary was taken. The only thing he felt was that his fire was pushing him south, but south, there were many human cities there. He couldn't keep flying, beyond the forest, but on foot, it would take forever.Tired, hungry and thirsty, he sits on the ground, leaning against a tree, and hides his face in his hands. His stoic personality had completely disappeared. Now, Lucifron felt a confusion of feelings, which left him on the verge of tears. With the appearance of the moon, he ends up falling asleep, completely oblivious to the eyes watching him.- Look at that boy. Do you see his clothes? He must have a lot of money. - one of the creatures says, watching him.- But he looks lost, he doesn't bring anything with him. - the second creature says.- Even so, it can
- Control your dragon – the vampire order. And Lucifron traps Zog in a corner of his mind. With a gesture, the vampire commands the fox to open the cage.- Get up and follow me. The vampire commands. And Lucifron gets up with his head down and follows the vampire out of the cage and out of the cave.Outside, several females and children, as well as other fox shifters looked in curiously. It could be seen that they were starving. The two chickens he had eaten made him think they had lots of food, but it looked like they hadn't, and from the clothes they wore, they were extremely poor.Zog could understand the temptation to sell them, and what those diamonds would offer those people.Lucifron saw nothing but his master's command, which echoed over and over in his head. One of the children, a girl of about 12 years old, came over to look at Lucifron, and the vampire hissed. She throws her tongue out and runs back to her mother.- How much do you want for that one? - the vampire says, poi
- Baby, you came back. What do you bring there?- Company for our son.The boy runs and hugs his father. The little vampire looks at the frightened girl and asks:- Is it for me to eat, daddy? The vampire couple laughs and the little fox whimpers.- No son. It's to play with you.- She has weird eyes. Is she sick? - the boy asks, afraid of touching her.- She's a fox, a kitsunes. She is Japanese. I don't know what species she is. When she grows up, she will shift on your order and then you will see how many tails she has.- What's her name, daddy?- She has no name yet. You give her a name.- My name's Sophia. - the girl says, in fear.- I don't like that name. I will call you Eli.- So Eli will be her name from now on.The girl pouts and the little vampire giggles. The vampire's wife approaches and looks into Lucifron's dead eyes.- Is this the dragon you talked to me about? - She questioned, curious. – I thought dragons were giants.the vampire chuckle.- His dragon must be big. Gary had a few moments of lucidity. Sometimes he would remember having sex with that witch and he would be disgusted. Sometimes he remembered his mate, but he couldn't remember his face. He knew he had a pack, but he didn't remember he was an alpha.Days and nights ran the same way. He moved as commanded, and did not leave the room. That morning, something different happened. A crow landed on the window and his cawing reminded him that he knew someone who also flew in the sky. It was big and red, and it was important to him, but he couldn't remember who that someone was.His mind was constantly foggy, as if he lived in a cloud, and when a voice called to him inside his mind, he ignored it, thinking it was a hallucination.Midnight was trapped inside Gary's mind. The witch had armored him, and Gary didn't even remember he existed. Every day Midnight called out to Gary. Every day he tried to do Gary's shift. Nothing worked, and when he dared leave the corner where he was, the fog surrou
Zog flew free at last and headed back to the fox pack.At first he was afraid of being seen, but the kitsune had spoken the truth and he was invisible to human eyes.Lucifron had been silent the entire time, and zog, filled him in on everything that had happened since the vampire controlled him."I can't believe I let myself be dominated by a vampire." – Lucifron says."Me neither. I never imagined that you were so weak” – Zog replies, displeased.“Thank you for saving me.”- Zog, can you land in the forest near the city? I want to make my way among humans.- Will you feed among them?- I can eat human food, as long as I feed on blood at least once a month. Without my father's blood, my body would begin to age at the same rate as humans. I want to live like them, get married and have children. At least I want to try it. And I promise, I will never kill again.- What will you live on until a job comes along?- I have a bag of diamonds that I stole from my father. My life will not be ha
The rogues by the bonfire end up falling to the side, overcome by drunkenness. The one on guard resisted heroically, but he was no less drunk than the others.Lucifron lifts the cloth that covers the cage again, on the opposite side to the Guard's angle of vision, and tries to understand where the door was. Unfortunately, the door was located on the other side of the cage. The bird looks at him with sad eyes, and his hooting sounds like a cry.“Zog, what if you took the cage in the air?”“I can try, but they'll wake up from the noise. Besides, you have to take off this cloth, and the guard will raise the alarm.”While Lucifron was talking inside his mind, the bird turns to him, spreads his wings and sings a sad melody, and sets himself on fire.“What the fuck” – Lucifron says.“He really is a Phoenix. Wait, she will be reborn.”Lucifron raises an eyebrow, but waits. The flame that consumed the bird was not very hot, but in a few minutes, only a pile of ashes remained on the ground. He
