Chapter 2 A new life awaits me

"Yes, grandpa, I'm already in the penthouse; I already told you that I don't need to stay in a college room, you know I like to have my privacy, and besides, I will be more comfortable here," I told him.

"It's okay, Marcus, I won't insist anymore, but if you need anything else, don't hesitate to let me know; I know you will tell me not to worry, I know you are independent and mature, but still, you are my grandson, and I love you, son, take care, and we will be in touch," my grandfather told me and hung up the call.

Back in London, my name is Marcus Myers. My father was Dylan Myers, and my mother, Isabella Jones, died before I was born. My mother moved to Ibiza, thanks to my grandfather's insistence that he promised to take care of me when I was born.

My grandfather says I look a lot like my dad, with very dark black shoulder-length hair and my olive green eyes; when I see his photographs, I can't deny it, we are like two peas in a pod.

I hadn't seen my mother since I was ten years old, only when she came to ask my grandfather for money and since he refused to give her a penny more, she disappeared.

I grew up surrounded by luxuries; nothing was missing because I always had my grandfather's affection, which was enough; he is like my father.

Since high school, I have always been the typical Bad Boy; what can I say? I am a womanizer with money, a rebel without a cause. That is the perfect formula that attracts women, like bees to honey, and I just let myself be loved.

But I will take my adventures to another level; it's time to start preparing myself to take over my grandfather's advertising agency in the future, and College is the last step of my rebellion.

Now I'm back in London when they start knocking on the door, and I hear shouting, "Marcus, open the door we are late" that can only be Jason, my best friend from childhood.

"I'm coming; you are an idiot. I don't know how I put up with you," I tell him as I open the door.

"I told you to be ready; we have to go to campus to check in and check our schedules; why are you taking so long," he tells me and plops down on my couch.

"I was talking to my grandpa, but I'm ready now; let's go because we also have to see what pretty girls are available for the parties, which I'm sure there will be many this year," he says smiling, and we leave towards the parking lot.

Jason leaves his car here, and we leave in mine, my pride, my black BMW M4; if my car could talk, it would be worthy of a confession because of the parade of women that have passed through here.

When we arrive at the campus, we get out of my car. I can see that I have caught the attention of some women, which is normal for me, but I have to concentrate on what is important, and that is my preparation.

Anyone would say I'm an idiot with money, but I'm not smart enough; I can say I'm a complete package.

"Marcus, you saw how they stare at you, hell! This is going to be fun," Jason said.

"First things first, let's check the schedules, and then we'll have some fun," he said smiling.

"By the way, what happened with Melina? Did you guys break up?" he asks me.

"And you know I can't stand jealous women, and she knew it wasn't serious for me; I always told her very clearly it was just good sex and nothing else," I say, smiling.

"Maybe you should have warned her constantly; she is crazy. I still remember the little scene she made when you said you were coming to London without her," said Jason.

"You know I'm not a one-woman man, and I don't think I'll find that exception; that makes me want to settle down," I say, laughing.

"The day she arrives, I'm sure you're going to go crazy," Jason said.

"We'll see," I replied.

After we had our schedules, we talked with some friends who also enrolled in this same College, "Today there will be a welcome party in a bar near here; you are cordially invited," said Kenny.

"I appreciate it, of course, we will go; we need to distract ourselves," I say, looking at Jason, who has a huge smile on his face.

While Jason was chatting, I decided to walk around a bit to see the university and familiarize myself, and that's when I saw her, the most beautiful and sexy woman I had ever seen in my life.

Her curly blonde hair was breathtaking; I had never seen such beauty; her body had curves, which I would gladly drive at full speed to caress her.

I walked slowly towards her without taking my eyes off her; I had to get closer to know her name, who she was. She was standing outside a car, and just as I was about to talk to her, a guy got out of the car and hugged her.

My breathing became agitated; jealousy consumed me; who was that man as he dared to touch her that way? I got a little closer to listen to their conversation without being seen.

She had her hands around his neck and hugged him tightly, "Olí, you don't know how I'm going to miss you, promise me that the first chance you get, you'll come to see me," I said with a smile.

"I promise, take care of yourself and anything you know, call me, and I'll be here in a few hours; Paris is close, remember" he was telling her; apparently, he is her boyfriend. He will be in Paris, that's perfect.

They said goodbye, and he left; I was about to approach her when I heard Jason call me.

"Marcus, I have the number of some beauties for tonight. Kenny has a friend, who has another friend, and they are both gorgeous, according to him," he yelled at me.

"Sounds excellent to me, but I already have one in my sights," I said as I turned to look at that beautiful woman and got the surprise of my life, seeing that she was gone.

"Where did she go?" I said, turning around looking for her.

"Who are you talking about? Where did who go?" Jason said to me.

"She, a curly-haired blonde with a tempting body, was right in front of us, damn! You made me lose sight of her," I said angrily.

"Whoever she is, if she was here, I'm sure she'll be at the party tonight; maybe you'll see that ghost again," he told me.

"Ghost or not, she left me in awe with her beauty; I have to see her again," I said, thinking about her.

We got in my car and went to my penthouse to get ready for tonight; on the way, I couldn't get her away from my thoughts, "my god Marcus, what is it about that woman that you keep thinking about her" Jason said.

"What makes you think that you're crazy," I said, ignoring him.

"Does it shock you that much to see that girl? I have never seen you like that. Do you know what her name is?" he said to me.

"No, because just when I was about to approach her and ask her, you distracted me, and she left," I said seriously.

"Okay, if looks could kill, I think you would have me 10 feet under by now, sorry," he told me, raising his hands in surrender.

"Forget it. I'm not going to lose my mind over a woman when I can have as many as I want, and tonight no doubt I will," I said smiling.

But I can't deny it; it intrigues me too much; who am I fooling? I want to know everything about her; this doubt is killing me; I don't know what I feel; it scares me because I haven't touched it for any woman and even less for one that I don't even know her name.
