Chapter 32 Numb In Pain
IT’S BEEN almost a week since Rexon called me for work. I’ve also been fermenting here at home for a week.
I want to apply for another job but I can’t. After all, Rexon didn’t give me a regular job.
I haven’t talked to Calixto since that night happened at the bar. I also don’t receive any calls or texts from him.
Even though I was in pain, I chose to ignore it. Perhaps he isn’t the right guy for me, and I should look for someone else.
I want to forget Calixto. I want to bury my feelings for him, no matter how sick and hard it is.
What I was worried about was our expenses and medications of my father. I need to find a real new job soon.
“Dad, I’m here!” I chirped after buying some groceries for the whole week.
