My eyes went wide when I saw Xander's signature under his name. Why the fuck was he desperate to divorce me? Keeping this marriage was the only thing that could keep my mother alive. With the divorce papers in my hand, I decided to face my husband and appease him. I should be calming him down. He was probably angry over my absence on the wedding night.
