Farewell Party Ruined

Zara's POV

The point of divorce made by Tania turned all of us in the car present stiff and cold. Benjamin slammed brakes so fiercely that the car bumped roughly ahead before settling back and coming to rest.

Without turning back I could feel Xander burning because of what all was happening. Did I go too far? I surely did. Now how do I clear this mess that I voluntarily created?

Tania pressed in, “Zara, you shouldn't stay with a man like that. Divorce hi…”

Before Tania could complete her sentence, Benjamin broke in.

“The hotel is here,” he said, his voice cracking.

I, who was so bold and confident to face my husband a few seconds back, became a scared puppy. With my shaky eyes, I stole a glance at the rear mirror. As expected he was burning in rage.

I quickly opened the car door and stepped outside and walked my way inside the hotel leaving all of them behind.
