Lucas pov

I rushed to her bed once Jonathan let the order go and I gently covered her up. She looks frail I noted as I sat by the bed. When she shifted in her sleep I noticed her belly was a bit bigger. The blanket fell and as I moved to cover

her up our pup moved and my eyes filled with tears.

"your moving, I touched the belly being quiet. Our boy I'm convinced he is a boy kicked at my hand, good job baby",I spoke softly to him. He stopped moving when Gemma whimpered rubbing at her belly.

"stop kicking so hard, she slurred out in her sleep, that hurts",I frowned. Our pup was hurting her.

"easy on mama",I kissed her belly and covered her up and sat by the bed. I watched her sleep taking In the dark circles under her eyes. Guilt filled me as I watched her shift again.

"back hurts",she whimpered in her sleep. I stood going to get doc I didn't want her in pain.

"doc, I walked up fast, her back hurts",he looked at me and nodded.

"it will Josh all pups make the moms uncomfortable and hurt.
