Chapter Twenty One

"Hello Luna," Emmaline said to me. That same smirk she had when she beat up the poor woman was still there again.

I hated it.

"Did you like the show I put up?" she asked, pointing to the woman who was now surrounded by medics-- which they called healers here.

"I've seen better," I said back to her, satisfied when the smirk on her face fell off. But that was a lie; I had never seen any 'woman', fight with such strength, speed, and agility.

"Then you wouldn't mind if I asked you to show me," she says, the smirk returning.

I couldn't believe what she was asking for. "What do you mean?" I asked, even if I knew where she was heading.

"I mean, why not me and you? Go right into that ring and have a spare. I'm curious to know how brutal Luna Cara can be."

Immediately, Teo stood between us.

"Back off, Emma," he growled, and she smirked, taking some steps backwards, her gaze still on me.
