My stomach knotted just thinking about it.

If Derrick walked out, even for a day, the chaos he would cause…

No. I can't go there.

I tossed my phone onto the couch and dragged a hand down my face.

I need answers. Spencer

Or he just didn't want to take responsibility?Questions I wasn't sure I wanted answers to begin to surface the longer I stayed under the cold shower.I shut off the shower, rubbed the towel a little too hard against my skin and got dressed before walking into Spencer's room to find it empty. My brows knitted together as I searched through the room and his closet before walking out of the room.I peeped through the guest bedroom and heard the sound of the shower as my stomach grumbled. "You've tried," I muttered and made my way into the kitchen, rummaging through his fridge and pantry for something to eat. "Does he even live here?" I muttered to myself after finding only expired milk and cereal boxes. "I've been busy these few months and I haven't been living here," Spencer's voice echoe

  • My Husband Made Me A Criminal    Chapter 66

Natasha's POV "Did you ever love me?" My throat burned, my voice sounded distant even to my ears as my head rested against his chest. I didn't know what prompted me to ask that question. I don't even know what I wanted his response to be. Did he love me? Did he not and he was only following his father's instructions? Somehow, I felt dread for his response and given how he was hesitant to hold me even after I was practically on him... "Yes."
