Nerves curled in my gut seeing Lorenzo walking up to Julieta.

I moved around her, quickly grabbed hold of him, pulling him aside. I barely could pull him though.

“What are you doing here?” I whispered.

“I should be asking you that!” He said, loudly.

I winced. “I just came for a visit. You didn’t have to show up here as if I was kidnapped. And it will not look good if I just leave like this…”

Julieta was literally just telling me how much danger he was to me.

So him showing up here and wanting me to go with him would make them think he was really overbearing towards me.

Admittedly, he was, sometimes.

But I didn’t want them to have that impression of him or that I was being abused by him.

But as usual, Lorenzo didn’t care.

He grabbed hold of my hand. “Let’s go!”

“No…my things, my bag is upstairs.” I let out.

He let go of me. “You have two minutes.”

“Lorenzo…”

“Two. Minutes.” He growled.
