The doors to the operation ward opened.

Jasper wheeled Esther to the doctor.

“Doctor, Tinkerbell…”

The doctor shook his head grimly.

"We've done our best. Our condolences."

Esther questioned in shock, "What do you mean?"

She sprang out from the wheelchair, aggressive like she had never been, as she clutched the doctor's surgical gown and questioned again tearfully, "What do you mean? You're supposed to save your patients! Go back now… Go back and save my daughter!"

Jasper wrapped an arm around her shoulder and coaxed her hoarsely, "Esther, calm down. The doctors have done their best."
