Liam smirked in full confidence, as though he knew he could triumph over Jonas's army as easily as squashing an ant. Jonas was a little puzzled by this. How could Liam still smile in the face of such adversity?

"Jonas, has no one ever taught you not to be too cocky? One day you're going to pay the price for your arrogance! And this advice extends to the rest of your family too!" Liam snarled, his eyes ablaze with fury.

Jonas was infuriated by this. He let out a frustrated yowl and tossed his trench coat aside. "You must be stupid or have a dying wish! How do you think you're going to match up against hundreds of my soldiers? Seize him! Whoever kills him first gets a reward from me!"

The men surrounding Liam all leaped forward in greed at the mention of such a reward.
