As soon as I stepped out of Alice's private plane, the crisp air of L.A greeted me. I had been planning to come here for a long time but never found the right time or occasion. And now, my first time here was merely a business trip.
"Why are you buying a hotel all the way over here?" I asked, giving her a brief glance. Her hair was swaying with the wind and some dark locks were falling on her forehead, making her look ethereal. The large pair of sunglasses was hiding her beautiful eyes from me.
"I like this city." She shrugged and then made her way towards the car that was here to pick us up.
"Why do you want to buy a hotel anyway?" I asked, following her.
"You ask too many questions, Stav," she replied and sat inside the car.
"Forgive me for being a little curious," I mumbled as I entered through the other door and soon, we were on our way.

The bed of the hotel was so cozy and warm that one couldn't help but sleep till late. That explains why I woke up at 10 in the morning, instead of my usual time which was before sunrise. As soon as I stepped out of the elevator, a familiar silence greeted me. I looked around to find Stav, who usually rushed towards me the minute I left elevator, but he was nowhere to be found. Leaning back in my seat, I stared at the woman standing in front of me. There was an impenetrable silence dawned in the room, ready to be broken any time now. The woman had the nerve to show up empty-handed when I clearly demanded the analysis first thing in the morning, and now she was standing there, waiting for me to forgive her and extend the deadline.Yeah, right."What do I do with you all? It was Sunday and I was officially on the verge of killing myself. I almost spent the whole week lying on my bed and it was killing me.
