Chapter 7 (a)

"Let's get married now."

The girl stared at him for a moment. Indigo can clearly see how her eyes sharpen before taking another step to follow her mother.

"Mama!"

But Indigo immediately followed Amber and grabbed her hand to stop her.

"Amber! Don't follow her, please, she might just hurt you again."Amber harshly removed the hand that is holding him.

"Can you please leave me alone, Indigo!"

She took another step but he quickly blocked her.

"Amber, I am just concerned about you."

Amber pushed him on his chest but she didn't succeed.

"If you are really concerned, let me follow my mother. And please, don't follow us either. Let me talk to my parents, alone."

Before Indigo could react, she violently hit him on the shoulder and then passed him. While Indigo just sighed and followed the woman.

"But I just can't let you go alone, Amber. They might hurt you."

The woman looked at him again.

"They are my own family, they will not hurt me."

"But she already did."

"Please Indigo, give it to me.
