Amelia sits next to me while we see the extensive garden that the hospital had. I take a sip of my coffee. My friend watched me in silence. She knew something was happening to me. She knew me too well.

"You know I'm not one to get involved in other people's lives," she says, eating some greasy biscuits, "but I feel like something is not right in your life."

- Amelia - I tell her with a serious tone, I didn't want to talk about it but she continues talking.

- You know I read a phrase that said, learn from the past, form your future, live in the present. You should implement them - he looks at me - and also eat something solid, you're always with coffee, let's go get some good hamburgers - he gets me up and we walk to the hospital cafeteria.

"The hamburgers here are disgusting," he murmured to Amelia.

- I know, but we are working, I had forgotten that detail - I just laugh when I listen to my crazy friend - finally a good face

While we were ordering to eat we sat at a table to wait for our order to be given. Amelia was reading a new article about mini hearts while I was playing a word search, our orders are announced on the screen and Amelia goes to look for them and gives them to me. my boiled chicken with pumpkin puree... I wish I were in a Burger or some other type of restaurant but the hospital generally only gave food like that

- Look, the chef gave us two desserts. What do you want, Muse or flan? - She tells me, I take the chocolate Muse while she keeps the flan.

- I want to discharge the person in bed five - I tell him, scraping what was left of the pumpkin with the fork.

- Of course - he tells me - he is basically cured, speaking now that we are calm...

- We are always calm - I tell him, leaving the dishes aside and grabbing the chocolate Muse.

- I do... You lately - and he gestures with his hand to fall down - what happens between that patient and you

"Nothing... he's just a childhood friend," I say.

- And your brother? - He asks.

"What's with him?" I say, pretending not to understand.

- oh really? We saw you, when she approached from behind you and when you ran away - she looks at me - because you can't tell me what's happening.

"Because it's not important, he's a good idiot. He used to be the king of the wolves," I tell him, stopping to throw things away.

- Oh no!. You always escape Vic, you are not a coward, can you tell me... - I interrupt her.

- No Amelia, you don't know me at all, and yes, I am a coward with this topic and end of the conversation - I say - seriously, it is a stage of my life that I don't want to talk about. Is that so difficult to understand?

I left the place, leaving her with the words in her mouth. She couldn't understand that she didn't want to talk about it, she didn't want to relive something that I'm already leaving in the past. She sighed.

I was signing the last papers of the day when I felt someone next to me stop writing to look out of the corner of his eye. Unfortunately, I had felt his gaze from his brother's room and I knew that it wouldn't take long for him to approach.

- I liked the blonde - he speaks touching a hair of mine - yes... I never lost sight of you, although I can say that the red one favored you - he says, releasing my hair

I didn't look at him, I was just looking at the report I had at hand and I gripped the pen tightly, as if it were my only weapon at this moment. He comes a little closer and snatches the pen from me.

- Do you think I'm an idiot to attack you in public? -She says, leaving the pen aside. I didn't look at him or speak. "Impressive... it took centuries for you to be silent."

- Are you here to make fun or do you need something else? - I ask him now, looking at him.

He sees me with a funny expression, he hated that face, he made fun of the fear that generated for years, he enjoyed it, he looks at me as if analyzing his words

"Will you discharge my brother so he won't see me again?" he asks with a cynical smile.

"Not everything revolves around you," I respond, grabbing the papers and starting to walk, he follows me.

- Curious because I know that hospitals have by regulation, a surgery like the one my brother had must be under observation for at least a week and only one day has passed since his operation - he finishes saying I just breathe and ignore it - maybe I would have to ask to the hospital committee if that is true - I stop walking and turn to see him

-Listen to me something - I approach him so that no one hears our conversation - stop ruining my life - I tell him, for a moment he goes back to being the same monster I knew

"Your life has been ruined since you met me, darling, and you know what, I'm tired of playing cat and mouse," he says, turning around and leaving.

What did you mean by that?

I walk to reception and cancel Frederic's check-out papers, I go to the room where Frederic and his wife were getting ready.

- something's happening doctor - they look at me

- If due to establishment rules I cannot let him go to his house - I tell him to which he nods.

"I understand," Frederic tells me, sitting down, "but my wound is already completely healed. It would be a waste to take up another bed if I don't need it," he explains to me, to which I nod.

- I know, and if it was up to me I would discharge him but...- I stopped talking when I saw that Iskander entered the room.

- Have they not discharged them yet? - asks the cynical son of the moon

"It seems I can't because of orders from the establishment," he says to which Iskander looks at me out of the corner of his eye. "

-I'll leave you alone- I say goodbye and leave the room cursing.

It's incredible how terrified I am of that man but at the same time I'm angry, how I wish he would swallow his own balls.

-In the end you didn't discharge him? - Amelia asks, to which I deny.

- The brother threatened me to tell the hospital committee - I say to which she utters a rude word - Hey! - I complain and have heard apologies to those present.

- Like he threatened you! And who believes -; She starts to say to which I look at her with my eyebrow raised.

- Now to begin the king - I say and she denies

"The king of the wolves, not mine and this hospital," she says furiously.

"It doesn't matter if you don't think of doing something against him," I say to him who looks at me in disbelief. "Hey, don't look at me like that, I know what he is like and what his temperament is like, I don't want him to hurt you," I tell him to which he nods. " And if you're right, he's not the king of this hospital, but he knows I'm doing something I shouldn't, so I have to keep quiet and get on with my job.

Each one continued with their work until my shift ended. I see how Amelia walks hurriedly towards me with a scared face. She approaches.

-what's going on?

-I think I saw some men with weapons.

I was about to ask him why the hell when I see some men enter armed and closing each exit door, I look at Amelia who was scared, it was a large group, approximately 20 guys with weapons and crossbows.

"Everyone get on the floor now!" Everyone except us did. The one who seemed to be in charge of this robbery points his gun at me. "I said to the floor."

"They can't close the doors of a hospital," I say, crossing my arm and looking at him seriously.

"Get on the ground or I swear I'll blow your head off," he says, approaching me.

- It's okay... - I knelt down little by little to get on the ground.

"Look for that damn wolf," he exclaims, some groups had spread out.

"Sir, the doors are locked," he says, to which I curse, I look at Amelia who was only wearing her ambo and not her robe, just as I hide my identification with the keys, to which she does so surreptitiously.

The subject looked around us as if looking for a solution, he took a nurse by the arm.

- Give me the key - he says to the scared nurse, he tells her that he doesn't have it, that the doctors are the only ones who have access to that area - one of the nurses pointed at me and abruptly picked me up - you open the damn door -

They were hunters and I was sure that that group was the cause of Frederic's injury, and now unfortunately the hospital is paying for it.

- that area is perimeter - I tell him - as soon as you enter the alarm will sound and we don't have a code - I make up some excuse for Frederic to make time and leave and I hope he does otherwise I would be giving my neck in Vain

- opens the damn door - threatens me with his silver dagger

I nod and we walk to the door, behind that was the coronary unit where we took the recently operated patients. There were only eight people. The leader called two more people who followed us, passing the quick card, which turned red. It had not passed.

"Open it!" he yells at me.

- It's blocked - I say to what he presses me more, I pass his dagger quickly again, denying it again, once again the doors activate an alarm for the police and lock all the doors of the hospital.

- Give me that - he takes out the card and passes it slowly, the door opens and we enter.

Once away the doors close automatically and we walk through the empty hallways

- Please try to see through the room windows - I tell him - these patients are open-hearted and we cannot enter without protection - they only see me and continue their search but clearly look through the windows. The hunters except the boss disappearing

- Have you found something? - He shouts, no one answers. He curses and takes me by the arm, using me as a shield. We see his companions dead on the ground. While he looked around, I let go of his grip, hitting him in the face.

The guy gets up to attack me in the middle of hitting me. He looks at me in surprise. I see how blood falls from his mouth and he collapses on the floor. I look at the cause of it and a chill runs through my entire body.

Seeing Iskander with his hands stained with blood was like seeing him again years ago.

- you are welcome. -is the only thing he says, throwing away that organ that he had taken from his enemy
