Xander's POV

You're not even listening to me and I hate it. Why would you be making me feel as if I'm disturbing you?" Ellie thundered from the doorway, disrupting my attention.

I stared at her in annoyance. She was fond of grating on my nerves. In my entire life I had never seen anyone who was so committed to making me annoyed. It seemed like that was her speciality. Always nagging profusely and I didn't want to say anything that would result in her crying profusely as though I had wronged her beyond measure.

"What is the problem this time?" I replied. She wouldn't allow me to have time for something else anymore. "Do you need anything?" I asked again.

"You're seeking a way to discard me stylishly. That isn't what marriage is all about."

I sighed. I was about to be subjected to another bout of nagging. "Are you kidding me right now? This is unacceptable. I can't imagine what you just sit down and come up with. This nagging has to stop." I burst out angrily.
