Chapter 208: Epilogue

Derek met Giselle again a week later.

The girl was queuing at the coffee shop that Derek was frequent. The two were pretty surprised to see each other there.

“You were Derek, from a week ago on the street, right?” Giselle asked him first, with a hint of unsure.

Derek beamed at her. He nodded, “Glad you remember me.”

“Oh, no. Not that kind of remember,” Giselle shook her head.

The manager chuckled, “I know. So, erm- would you mind having a cup of coffee with me?” Derek asked.

And surprisingly, after a bit of consideration, Giselle said yes. But it was not rocket science. The girl was curious about Derek and that was all.

From what had happened three days earlier, this man seemed to know her and that bothered Giselle. How could she forget if she ever met the guy? He seemed to be a nice guy, Giselle would remember if she had met him before.
