Chapter 60: The unkown

Giselle felt a sudden creep run across her spine, making her shiver.

“What’s wrong?” Her mom asked, concerned.

Giselle shook her head cause even she did not have a single idea what was wrong. Yet, one thing she knew for sure, her uneasy feeling had just grown. Nonetheless, Giselle shook it off.

“It’s about time for your check-up, right?” Giselle diverted her mom’s attention.

If Giselle's memory served her well, her mom's check-up was about to come.

Catherine had a mitral valve regurgitation. Her disease had gotten more and more serious. It had gotten to the point she had to do cardiac surgery. Her mom was definitely aging.

Giselle felt emotional just by thinking of it.

Her mom had gone through a lot. Catherine’s physical health had been weaker than any other omegas since day one. It was obvious that the omega’s body could not be strong enough for her to bear a child. Therefore, Cat
